Hello everyone, welcome to the second edition of the @Steemitcentral Flash Fiction Contest. We are organizing this contest because of the growing need to promote short fiction on the Steem blockchain.
What is a Flash Fiction?
Flash fiction is an extremely short fictional work. An average flash fiction can be read in three minutes.
This Week'sContest:
In not more than 150 words, write a flash fiction on the topic, "When the Aliens Came".

Topic : WHEN THE ALIENS CAME
Once upon a time in Krypton, there was a union of four household which are (House of Zed, Vex, El and Fot). In these household was among the greatest that has been in Krypton and also where Kings were crowned to rule over Krypton.
A man named Sunny, from the house of El, living off the grid, was doing his best to provide for his infant son Henry, in the wake of Veil's death. Henry contracts a mysterious illness that his father must join forces and journey back into Badlands about the forth coming destruction coming for Krypton and also provides for his dying son whose sickness become worse as the day goes by.
Meanwhile The king and his Opponent are entrenched in a drawn out that has destabilized the entire region in Krypton and forgetting what Sunny has told them.
Days gone by, the king has been waiting patiently for the forth coming attack preparing for battle. With no sign of the attack, the King was furious and angry that he has been fooled. And then made a judgement giving the House of El no rank of being among the household and should join the rankless people.
The House of El is out of Favor and isolated. It is in this delicate context that Sunny tried to bring peace and equality to the planet Krypton in despair, but it was too late for Krypton that When the Aliens came, the entire citizens was slayed and killed.
Sunny and Henry managed to escape from the great destruction through a skimmer.

THE EXTRATERRESTRIES ARRIVED.
It was 12:00 am, when Tommy in his old car, was heading to town saw in the distance a big ball of fire that was coming down the mountain road, towards his direction it was all so fast he had to walk around and the glow was so strong that when I pass near him, he felt a burning in his whole body; As it came, it disappeared. Now there was a damn fog that covered everything was as if they were in another dimension, he sat there in the car without moving. The silence was chilling to top the temperature had decreased. Something really strange is that it has not had contact with any other form of life, it was as if the animals had disappeared. Tonight he saw a strange figure in the sky, but the fog was so dense that I could not make out it before it vanished. But for him he was an extraterrestrial.

Era un día soleado estaba paseando por el parque como todas las mañanas haciendo ejercicios vi hacia el cielo que algo venía volando muy rápido y cayó hacia el otro lado del parque corrí quería ver que era busque y no veía nada de pronto por las rocas vi una nave redonda de color plateada me acerque era hermosa observe que alguien salía de esa nave era una persona vestía de traje dorado sentí sus pensamientos en mi mente se estaba comunicando conmigo mentalmente me dijo que venía del planeta Venus y tuvo que aterrizar en el planeta tierra, su nave presentaba fallas y la tenía que revisar el leyó mi mente y dijo no venimos a invadirlos solo queremos arreglar la nave para regresar a Venus yo estaba sorprendida como ellos tiene ese poder de leer la mente y su vestimenta espectacular parecían que conocieran los planos astrales y espirituales.

Topic : Should I Revenge?
Along the coast of amazon forest is a town known as kasifo. Like any other town in south america it has its own particular challenges, Father Ramirez has just being appointed as the new priest in St.Mariana cathedral .Interestingly, Father Ramirez is from the town and he is determined to change the ills from his community. On a Sunday mass he called for all young men to attend because drug related crimes,drug cartels were so common in kasifo. Santos a know crime boss in town and decided to turnover a new leaf after hearing Father Ramirez's sermon calling for stop to drug crimes. Santos and Father Ramirez became good friends,attending mass and seeking for godly advice. On a bright sunny day,some parishioners came calling for Father Ramirez "Your father is dying!" so he ran out with them to see his father and when he got there he was surprised to see his father in pool of his blood. "What happend?" Father Ramirez asked and he was told Santos has ordered is gang to beat up Ramirez's father because he didnt allow them harass a young lady few day back. "Should I revenge?,should l call the police? But I am a Priest.
Ghost Town
Little Maria, sitting on her mother’s lap pressed her face against the window, taking in the scenes as the convoy moved through the city. Mother told her this was were she was born.
She saw the hospital where she was delivered. Mother told her about the kind Nurse Sharon who often stayed behind after her shift to spend time with her. She saw the Community School, where Mother taught as a teacher. She passed the city’s shopping mall where Father worked as a security guard.
Mother told her about the beach at the other side of the city where they visited every Sunday. She still had a few photos in her wallet.
The city was bustling and alive. There was so much to live for. All these changed when the aliens came. Now, their city is a ghost town, a shadow of its former self.
