The most awkward thing happened to me due to my clothes

I did not zip up my dress

This happened when I was around 14 or 15 years old. I was invited to a birthday party and I had a dress on with zipper on the side. Something like this:

It was my parents’ friend’s daughter birthday, so I did not really know the people there and I just sat in one of the chair there looking through my phone. In that party, there was a senior from my school that I had a tiny crush on. So I kept stealing glances at him.

Then, I decided to stand up and went to the wash room. Walking back to my chair, I again kept stealing glances at him and I realized that he was smiling at me with a little smirk. So I smiled back at him and thinking in my teenage mind that he might be interested in me (I know! smiling does not mean someone is interested in you, but to my little mind fill with fiction novel, I though this would be my chance lol). Then, he started to make this hand gesture towards his right side. I was confused and too shy that I just walked back to my sit and thought about what he meant and start touching my ride side and I could feel my skin. I forgot to freaking zip up my dress and my whole right side was exposed for people to see…

Since then, I can never look at him in the eyes whenever we passed by in the school hallway.
