Here follows our latest edition of recipes:

I'm not sure when I first tried monthar or even if I had before. To me, many of the Indian treats tasted similar, using sugar, butter and gram flour as main ingredients. Then at some point I started buying the treats. While in my local Indian food stores getting ingredients for cooking, they just looked too good not to try. I knew I had recipes for them in my Indian food cookbooks so why didn't I make them myself? Yesterday, I did.

In response to the SteemitMamas Writealong Challenge for Day 9, I am going to share a super simple recipe of a Chinese chicken soup. It is my comfort food and reminds me ALWAYS of home because my mom cooks it a lot back home. We usually eat it with the Chinese longevity noodle aka mee sua, and it can be a birthday dish practised in some homes. I just cannot get enough of this bowl of goodness. Since it was a rainy Saturday and for some reason, I very tend to boil chicken or tonic soup on Saturday, I found myself the valid reason to do this!

This Chicken Soup is high-spirited but simple, focusing on preserving the taste and texture of fresh ingredients. It is true home cooking, more a provençal cuisine than restaurant cuisine.

Today on Cooking with Crypticat we're going to make flatbread pizza. This is a very fun dish to prepare that is great for the entire family 😺 flatbread has less carbs than your standard or thin crust pizza and it complies with other dietary restrictions.
