SteemReports - Flagging Analysis Tools (for Incoming and Outgoing Flags)

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

Realising it would be easy to reverse the code used in the voting charts on our website, you can now see whose accounts you have been flagging, and who has been flagging you (in the last 2 weeks):

Incoming Flags Info and Outgoing Flags Info

I haven't yet added these to the website index, as I need to reorganise it because of the number of tools that keep arriving! ;)

Great work thankyou

Thanks for your support!

I have my question @steemreports, Is there any way to prevent as an author or steemian account from somebody flagging it without any prove cause just want to flag? but for instance there's no reason to flag at all but they still did it on purpose, like for example 20 or more of us steemian's we agreed to flag you (just example) it's unfair to you as a good author not to get rewarded and hidden , because here I see once u flag somebody, boom! automaticaly redflag right ? In the future we don't know community and even individual might having battle, steemian war I may say. Maybe because of greediness, competition and hatred and whatever cause might be. Thank you for your time I am just curios.

Flag wars on Steemit do occur, and there's nothing which can formally prevent bullying. If it is obvious, a bullied participant might appeal to bigger account holder with big votes, who may help them stand up to bullies with reciprocal flags.

Basically though, yes, it's like the wild west out there sometimes, but usually good behaviour keeps you out of trouble. ;)

Just found steemreports, what a fantastic tool. Extremely helpful. Thanks you very much! @roused

Hello,

does it take all the period from the begin you arrive on Steemit ? Because I thought I had sent much more flag than it's written :-D

Hi, thanks for the question.

This actually shows only flags given/received in the last 14 days. I've updated the post the make that clear. You can also click on 'Info' in the web pages and it explains the tools in a bit more detail.

I love what you're doing with steemreports. I completely lost track of time and spent several hours just messing around there. Your tools have helped us track users abusing the @minnowsupport bot, and now with the flagging tool I'll be able to gain more insight when making decisions for @freezepeach.

Keep up the good work!

Great! I'm glad it's helpful - I love making the tools!

I haven't followed closely, but @berniesanders flagged some people he thought were doing wrong and he's obviously been the receiver of a huge backlash because of it. Moral of the story, don't piss off @Dan.

Yeah, we just need to know our place in the pecking order! ;)

Seems like a quandary.
Is STEEMit archo-capitalism or is it just a baby dictatorship? ;)

Or perhaps like Franklin said “A Republic, if you can keep it.”! ;)

So, i this case, it would be "An archo-capitalism system, if you can keep it."

Some times I wonder, were there a few really wise Founding Fathers of the Constitution who kept banging their heads at those other ones that couldn't see the benefit of more checks and balances on the Federal government?

I think there were some who genuinely wanted freedom and others who probably knew that under the right starting conditions, it would eventually fall to the tyranny they represented.

NIce tools! One thing that is missing and I see as a very important feature is the possibility to change the date range for incoming votes etc. Keep up the great work ;)

Thanks. I'll have a think about how much work would be involved in adding that.

Maybe something like a <select> element where we can choose like "14 days, 1 month, 3 month" would be easier to implement and still be awesome.

The trouble is the calculation algorithm isn't totally optimal, and takes a time approximately proportional to the length of time period covered. So 3 months would take about 6 times as long to load the page, and so would reduce traffic capacity unless I upgraded the server. I will consider it though.

If people are willing to vote well for these services I might be able to upgrade the server :)

Ok, now I understand why it's always 14 days :) I will definitely resteem your posts and create a German post introducing your tools in the near future ;)
