The Media Is So Predictably Unfair To Boris Johnson. It’s Pathetic. (I Know That He’ll Succeed)
I’m from Canada but I keep a close eye on current affairs especially in the UK, since Canada is part of the Commonwealth. I’ve been a big fan of Boris for many years. (The first time he caught my eye is during the London 2012 Olympics when he had a hilarious zip lining mishap.) I think he’s a born leader and very smart. The fact is that the media are purposely trying to make him look bad in order to prevent Brexit.
Here are the main flaws of Mr. Johnson: He is obnoxious, he is arrogant, he doesn’t admit mistakes, he’s stubborn etc... All of these qualities make him a perfect leader in this modern age. The people voted for Brexit and he will deliver it. It’s a very simple concept that terrifies the establishment. All he is doing is following the will of the majority. That’s democracy in action. I’m impressed that he got the Queen to suspend parliament for a few weeks. Contrary to the media that is not undemocratic nor evil. It’s pragmatic and shrewd.
I can’t stand people who dismiss him because of his gaffes and his bravado. He is human. He was a great mayor and a great newspaper editor before that. He even white a well received no biography on Churchill, who he models his career after.
Boris, like Churchill comes to power at a very tense and fragile time for Great Britain. Fortunately he shares the strong willed nature and love of democracy as Churchill. Hopefully he can guide Britain through this crisis in spite of the pathetic people who gleefully want him to fail.
