Hey @steevc, what you think about storing passwords in the keychain through Chrome or iOS? I use Lastpass too, but some people may want to use a less robust and free alternative. Are those options not secure enough?

Browser password managers are likely to be less secure. You should treat Steemit passwords (at least active and owner) as you would your bank passwords. You could let the browser store your posting key

I was using my owner key for transfers and was wondering myself what the "active" key was for!

Happy to help. I know it prompts you for active or owner key, but the latter has to be kept safe
