Coinbase made a big step to push crypto to Wall Street
Coinbase has snagged another former New York executive as it is trying to attract more business from Wall Street.
Christine Sandler former global head of sales for NYSE Euronext, has joined cryptocurrency company Coinbase as its director of institutional sales. Sandler worked at Barclays where she was the head electronic sales,reports to the general manager of GDAX Adam White. The move is working on attracting more Wall Street clients.
Via its GDAX exchange Coinbase first started offering services for Wall Street institutional companies in 2014. The company also announced the release of Coinbase Custodian, a custodian for the crypto space the company is trying to scale to be the "state street of cryptocurrency."
