As the Community witnesses the continued unprecedented growth it has seen in the last 15 months since its creation in March of 2016 there is absolutely no question at all that this explosive growth we are seeing is showing any signs of slowing down..!!
On the contrary, it is speeding up.
With a Community that is fast approaching 225,000 Registered Accounts the recent target of 600,000 Accounts set for the end of the year is clearly showing signs of an adjustment to the upside.

I have never played the markets but i know a game changer when I see one, reinvesting as fast as I can, so glad @joshsigurdson of World Alternative Media turned me on to Steemit. I'm glad to be part of the first 50,000, at least I think I'm one of the first 50k Steemiens...

I love these updates! Especially in these times where it feels like Steem is consolidating or even going down. It reminds me to always look at the big picture and keep my investment because this can become something big!

So what determines the price of Steemit? New accounts are created every day, but a number of STEEM is also added every day, correct? Does the price increase if the demand for STEEM grows faster than the daily added STEEM? Will the amount of daily added STEEM be increased in the future to meet the increased demand, or will the price keep increasing?
There is a fixed 9.5% addition of new Steem (inflation) rate that drops a flat .5% each year.
It looks like it is on track it reaches that target

I just drew them at logical resistance levels, i don't know what the time frame of the moves will be though. My target is $25-$50 per STEEM within 3 years.
$5+ before the end of this year seems likely.
