Chelsea's Reece James is both heir and hype at the same time
James Reece for me is better option at the right back at the moment considering his physical appearance and talented. His time at different clubs on Loan has really brought the best out of the player.
Chelsea fans eagerly await Reece James' return to fitness. He is both the heir to the right back spot and also part of a lot of hype.
I love the hype and the talks about him being the heir to Azpilicueta judging from his failures at the back in recent games. Personally need Reece back in the blue so Azpilicueta can seat up or pick up his form again. No doubt Azpilicueta is a good players as he has done so much for Chelsea in the past but football is a seasonal game and if you are not doing well in a particular season then off to bench.
James is highly thought of at Stamford Bridge, especially after impressing on loan at Championship side Wigan Athletic last season. The 19-year-old played 46 times in all competitions for the Latics, scoring three goals.
I think what Chelsea need at this point in time is patience in the young squad to deliver. We already see Mason Mount doing a lot of hard work to get his name on the score sheet and he did at the Leicester game. I think there is more to come from the young players in the squad. Frank Lampard believes in the youth and am sure we will reap it on a long run.
