One of the arguments the Democrats use to justify flooding the country with people whose votes they intend to buy using taxpayer money is this:
Illegal immigrants don't use welfare

Let's give the liars first bat, shall we?

Context is the subjective "standard" that liberals run to when the facts don't match their UnicornVision

Not a very impressive first bat, so let's look at objective numbers, AKA facts

Data based on Welfare Use by Immigrant and Native Households: An Analysis of Medicaid, Cash, Food, and Housing Programs

• No single program explains immigrants' higher overall welfare use. For example, not counting subsidized school lunch, welfare use is still 46 percent for immigrants and 28 percent for natives. Not counting Medicaid, welfare use is 44 percent for immigrants and 26 percent for natives.

• Immigrant households have much higher use of food programs (40 percent vs. 22 percent for natives) and Medicaid (42 percent vs. 23 percent). Immigrant use of cash programs is somewhat higher than natives (12 percent vs. 10 percent) and use of housing programs is similar to natives.

• In the four top immigrant-receiving states, use of welfare by immigrant households is significantly higher than that of native households: California (55 percent vs. 30 percent), New York (59 percent vs. 33 percent), Texas (57 percent vs. 34 percent), and Florida (42 percent vs. 28 percent).
  This one is particularly applicable; immigrants with job skills move to where jobs are at...especially those immigrants with high skills; doctors, engineers, etc. i.e, those immigrants who don't need assistance

• In 2012, 51 percent of households headed by an immigrant (legal or illegal) reported that they used at least one welfare program during the year, compared to 30 percent of native households. Welfare in this study includes Medicaid and cash, food, and housing programs.

But wait, illegal immigrants aren't eligible for welfare...or are they?

This is the corollary to the first argument, btw

But let's look at misleading language and expenditure under a different name, shall we?

states can extend Medicaid benefits to children and pregnant women regardless of immigration status. Furthermore, in-kind benefits—such as the National School Lunch Program; the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC); and Head Start—are available regardless of immigration status.
Immigration and the Welfare State: Immigrant and Native Use Rates and Benefit Levels for Means-Tested Welfare and Entitlement Programs

So pretending that welfare by a different name is not welfare simply reeks of bovine not-rose smell.

And let's also look in terms of "context" that liberals refuse to acknowledge. Every job an immigrant takes means one more American on welfare. And until we are at 0% unemployment, that factoid is true.
