My 2018: A Tour around my town: Welcome to Poltava!

Hello ! I want to invite you on a short trip to my native city of Poltava. In Poltava I have been living since birth for more than 30 years. During this time the city changed, became more modern. There were many high-rise buildings, modern shopping centers, cinemas, recreation places for children and adults.
I like to walk around Poltava, this is a quiet city with lots of parks in which you can see numerous chestnuts.

In the center of the city is the Corpus Park, from it like the rays of the sun in different directions go the roads to all other areas of the city.
In the center of this park is the obelisk of Glory.

Central street is lined with a crate, in good weather you can see many people walking along it.

The main museum of the city is the Museum of Local Lore where the entire history of the region is collected.

If you walk a little further, you can walk to the White Gazebo. One of the favorite places of the newlyweds who come here in the photo session.

Here you can find a monument to the galushka. It is a huge bowl with twelve stone dumplings and a deep spoon. They lie on the pedestal in the form of a wooden countertop. This monument symbolizes prosperity and well-being in the family.

In Poltava, traditional dishes are dumplings. They are served with meat, chicken, liver, sour cream and greens.

Another wonderful view of the Monastery is also from here.

In general, Poltava is called the "spiritual capital of Ukraine." In its territory are many, churches, monasteries, churches.

Our city is hospitable, here live good and kind people, come to us and see for yourself.
