Publishing on the Steem Blockchain Has Helped Improve My Digital Art - [steem] [blockchain] [digital art]
The Steem Catalyst
I recently placed second in @splinterlands' Digital Fan Art Contest. Pondering this amazing result, I began to think about what I was doing on the Steem Blockchain about 1 year ago. I went back to about the end of December 2018, which is just slightly over 1 year ago to compare my digital artwork from then to my most recent digital painting.
The artwork that I had posted on the Steem Blockchain back then I called Praña (sounds like Prah-knee-Ya due to the tilde ovder the letter n). At the time, I started with a pencil drawing of a single eye, took a picture of it, uploaded into Photoshop, and then turned into two eyes, then from there I created the face. I did this with a computer and mouse using Photoshop.
I continued using a mouse on my computer to draw for a few more months before before stepping up to buy an Apple Ipad 6 with Pencil. After seeing a friend of mine named Chris use one, I realized that I had to get one because drawing with a mouse was just too tedious and actually a little difficult when it comes to control needed to draw finer details.
Knowing that I was putting up my work on the Steem blockchain, while also learning from many of the great artist that have been and currently are on the Steem blockchain, inspired me to develop my artwork further through better art making tools. My artwork now using the Apple Ipad with Procreate software has truly become much better, but it would not have happened without the great Steem artists that are on here now putting up their artwork and art process for me to learn from. That is how I have learned to better my artwork technically, but my pursuit to do better has been inspired by kind and encouraging words from some of those Steem artists as well as from the Steem community.
@masummim50 is one of those inspiring artists. Through his artwork and through his supportive and encouraging words I too have pursued to post better digital artwork. Like myself, @masummim50 was also inspired to create better artwork because of the Steem Blockchain (read his post here = How Has Steem Impacted My Life). Like myself and Masummim50, there are many artists ranging from photographers, painters, musicians, writers and many other types of artist including coders ( yes I think there is an art to coding too) who also pursue their passion and post on the Steem blockchain Clearly the Steem Blockchain and its community are both a hub and a patron of the Arts.
Thank you to all who have supported my blog and my personal growth here on the Steem Blockchain. Thank you to all the artists who also continue to put their work on the Steem Blockchain as well, your efforts give the blockchain vibrance and color while inspiring others like myself to purse and develop their hidden talents. Thank you to the Steem Blockchain founders, developers, Investors, all those that help maintain this blockchain and Every active participating Steem user because together you are the catalyst to the life of the Steem Blockchain. None of this would be possible without all of you coming together to make up this organism we call the Steem Blockchain Network.
Full Steem Ahead 2020!

Thanks @josediccus I have a feeling 2020 is going to be an amazing ride on the Steem Blockchain. Have you played Splinterlands yet?
I haven't played it yet really, I've been saying I'll create time to see how it works but it seems complex lol
Yes @josediccus there is whole World to this SPLINTERLANDS game... it even has its own economy it seems. I still say to try it... it is free... and only play for fun when and if you can. You are already on Steem and it is part of the Steem blockchain so......

WOW!!! You have managed to move forward and grow a lot in just one year... imagine in about 5 years how amazing you will be, I am very happy with everything you have advanced and I hope you will continue to improve in what you like. <3 <3 <3
Thank you @yanes94 I never thought I could do stuff like this, but yes hopefully I can continue to develop more talents. Again, thank you and take care.
Likewise me, steemit has helped me to improve my traditional art skills especially drawings with pen.

I or EYE, hehehe, see that... keep doing your thing. I think show some of your work process would go along way in helping your posts, and maybe even making videos of it. Any how, take care. and thank you for the support.
you have come a long way. congratulations on that and on winning the steemmonsters' art contest.
Thank you @masummim50 It seems I learn even when making mistakes because with modern tech. it is simply undo or delete layer and do again. I am now trying the oil brush on Procreate.... much different than airbrush. It does take some getting used but I like it too. I will post one of those soon time permitting. Take care my friend.
that's a big change steem blockchain has made you even more better than ever :)
Thanks @blazing I do try.....
