A Weird Sign Of The Times

I wonder if this item existed before the virus hit. It certainly does fill a niche. The hearing impaired can’t utilize lip reading if they can’t see your lips.

But has anyone here seen these in use?

And what’s up with that blank look of ennui that the pouty model has? If the deaf or hard of hearing use that to pick up visual cues, would they want to communicate with someone who looked like that?
