I welcome everyone to another amazing week. I believe we are fine in our various locations as am fine here in Benin city, Nigeria.

I have walked past places and I have gone specifically to some places, I ask questions and I observe. so from my findings am going to share with you some popular places in benin.

THE MUSEUM

the museum located at Kings Square, Ring Road, Benin City happens to be a very popular place. children from both primary and secondary schools visit here in the name of excursion thereby generating a reasonable amount of traffic in the museum.

also random people also visit the museum for different reasons, just like I did although I did not enter the building.

RING ROAD

I can not talk about popular places in benin city and not mention the center of benin city, ring road. I believe the reason it's called ring road is because it is round and has roads from different places in benin connected to it. An example, if there happen to be an accident in ringroad leading to heavy traffic and hold up, it will affect 60-80% of other major road in benin.

The ring road hold alot of standing sculpture of the ancient times in benin city, one of which is the sculpture below

Also, the ACB was a popular bank in ring road until it was no longer functioning, but people still use the building to describe places in ring road.

MARKET PLACE

The market place is where people from all works of life come to make trade. there are numerous number of market in benin city and they hold a quite good number of traffic every single day.

because of how markets in benin are structured, you cannot easily place your fingers on the most popular market because you cannot get every commodity you need from one market, so the man here in ekiosa can leave and head to new benin market and leave to oliha market all in one day. so I choose to generalize the market place.

UNIVERSITY OF BENIN (UNIBEN)

the university of benin is the most popular university in benin city when it comes to universities moving from private to public. many teens and youth wants a spot in the university as it well recognized and they believe life will be easy when they hold it's certificate after graduation.

the university of benin, sitting at ugbowo lagos road benin city is a pillar when it comes to the education sector. and it's believed to have the most population as it gives admissions into more courses.
