Jeera Aloo Recipe!
Jeera aloo is a quick, simple, easy to make recipe which is savored with Chapati, Poori or Paranthas. It is a mix of potatoes and Indian spices, with Jeera dominating the recipe. Children love this in their lunch box especially with poori. This one is a super quick dish that can be made in minutes.

Ingredients:
• 5 Medium Sized Potatoes
• ½ TBSP Red Chilli Powder
• ½ TBSP Coriander Powder
• ½ TBSP Amchoor Powder
• ¼ TBSP Haldi Powder
• ¼ TBSP Garam Masala
• ¼ TBSP Jeera
• Salt as per taste
• Oil for Cooking
• Chopped Coriander Leaves for Garnishing
Method
Step 1: Wash the potatoes well, peel them and cut them into small pieces.You can also cut them in the shape of French Fries.
Step 2: Take the oil in a pan. Heat the oil well. Add Jira and let it cook for about 10 sec.
Step 3: Now add the potato pieces to the pan and let them cook for about 5 minutes till the color changes slightly.
Step 4: Add all spices to the pan and mix well. Cover the pan and let it cook for another 10 minutes on slow flame. While the pan is covered, do a sneak peak and mix the potatoes to ensure they don’t stick to the bottom of the pan.
Step 5: Take the cooked potato in a bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.
