Hi everyone.

I’m glad to share with you today how my day was. Today was actually a busy day for me as I was invited to come and witness a wedding ceremony of my childhood friend. It has been years since we met till I met her last three weeks in the market with her husband.

It was there that she told me she was getting married and that it will be coming on this month. She gave me their invitation card and we exchanged contacts as well. I was very excited for her because it is every woman’s dream to get married and produce her own children.

So when I wake up today it was on my mind because I promised her to be present during that day. I carried out some house chores my mom asked me to, I took my bath afterwards, got my dress ironed and was ready for the wedding ceremony.

I went to the wedding ceremony and it was already busy in going. I was surprised seeing the crowd and I was equally happy being present and fulfilling my promise. It was a nice ceremony, I went to her and present my special gift to her before coming out to witness the joyful dance of the people present.

I spent almost three hours at the wedding ceremony and when it was getting dark I decided to go back home and help my mom cook. When I was going home I had a call from my mom that I should by food from town along, that we are not cooking today.

I went to the nearest restaurant and bought some food, I bought rice for myself and banku for my mom before proceeding to the house.

I got home and it was already 7:30 pm. I was late though but my mom understood me. I took my bath, prayed and then ate with my mom.
