Pemilu tahun 2018 hampir dimulai di Aceh.
Dimana pemerintah pusat dan KIP menyusun rencana untuk mensukseskan pemilu di Aceh. di mana pemerintah pusat memberi wewenang kepada KIP kota untuk merekrut PPK di tingkat kecamatan sebanyak 5 orang.
Dan sesudah itu KIP merekrut PPS di tingkat desa sebanyak 3 orang.

Dan ini merupakan pelantikan dan pengambilan sumpah PPS sekabupaten Aceh Utara yang di selenggarakan di PT PIM lhoksemawe.
Pelantikan kali ini dibagi 2 kelompok yang mana di waktu pagi 15 kecamatan, dan sorenya 15 kecamatan. Mengingat tempat yang tidak memadai. Di karenakan seluruh PPS di Aceh Utara sebanyak 1300 orang.
