We have a friend that has never had fried pickles so we had him over for dinner the other night to introduce him to this delicacy.

There are easier to make then it may seem, the only real work is in breading the pickles but this can be done an hour or two before cooking.

The main thing is to use the standard breading procedure which is; seasoned (salted) flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs (any style).

Here is the page on breading from, "On Cooking* by Labensky/House

Here is my setup but I do it from right to left instead of left to right.

The main thing here is to be sure you have everything ready before you start breading.

Then into the hot fat! Mmmmmm, hot fat.
I used corn oil here but it can be any type of vegetable oil.

I don't have a picture of the finished product as they disappeared too fast.

Glad you like it @irisworld. Let me know id you make these.

I bet those fried pickles disappeared the moment they hit the paper towels! Yummy!
The coin-cut -- like a quarter coin -- fried pickles are our favorites though the spears are delicious too.🥒

The first time I made them I used the round slices but they were too thin and we could barely taste the pickle. Nice giphy btw :)
