The Village Girl Back To The CountrySide Part 2
The village girl adventures continue...
She took the train from the city to the countryside. The train was full of passengers, from all over the place. It was busy. She could hear the young girls laughing and giggling with each other, children going home from school and workers getting off from work.
The weather was a bit cold and wet. The village girl looked outside through the window and saw the beautiful landscape of the country, the valley, the hills and the green field full of cows and sheep. It gave her comfort and peace to see the nature. It reminded her of the village she had left behind.
After a few hours of sitting in the train she stopped at another town . It was nice to be back in the countryside. It's a developed country indeed, almost everything is well arranged. It's different from her country, different culture, different people..everything is different.
She stepped out of the train and her ordered taxi was waiting for her. Dermot greeted her, they chatted for a while. He said that he became a grandpa. He was really proud. He was planning to retire this year, but sometimes he would change his mind, because he is still enjoying his taxi job. The village girl called her family while she was in the taxi to let them know that she was safe.
Another 20 minutes had passed and she arrived at the village. Once you reach this place, there's is no cellular signal anymore, because the village is situated in a low laying area. This village has a very small population, houses are old, built in 1800's. Mostly retired people live there. It is a very peaceful and quiet environment. They have one small shop, a church, one nursery, one primary school and the beautiful hills and a valley around the area.
Overlooking the hill, she saw the sheep resting, the grass and the trees were still green. Sometimes the village girl feels like she's living in a fairy tale book. Does this kind of place exists?
A total silence...you could only hear the sheep, the birds chirping in the morning or the small river flowing by...
It's time to get out from the taxi. Dermot opened the door. The village girl was relieved that she has arrived safe after a long journey.
There is Grandma Anne....waiting at the doorstep..smiling and happy. Grandma Anne haven't change much. She looks very young at her age of 97....
To be continued...
PART 1
It was late in the afternoon when the village girl left home, her holiday was over. It's time to go back to work and earn some money for living. She was sad that she had to leave her loved ones. She had a great time in the village. She spent most of her time in the garden, cooking, walking in the woods, doing simple things together with her loving family.
