Nokia bought Withings, the French health technology company, last year. Now, Withings and his app fall under the Nokia umbrella, branded and all.

This means that previous Withings products will now be sold under the Nokia brand, and the new Nokia Health Mate app will replace the Withings Health Mate app.

Here we explain in detail:

Will Nokia's new products be the same as Withings?

It looks like it is. The Withings Steel clock and the physical activity monitor Withings Go will remain in the portfolio and will be named Nokia Steel and Nokia Go respectively. Withings Steel HR, meanwhile, will become Nokia Steel HR later this fall.
Other older Withings products like the Aura (a sleep monitor and clock) and the Thermo (a thermometer) will continue to be sold under the brand name Withings, and Nokia will continue to manufacture connected scales and blood pressure monitors.

New products: a cheaper scale and a band to measure blood pressure

Nokia will surely add two new products into this category: a US $ 60 Wi-Fi scale called Nokia Body, and a blood pressure band (or sphygmomanometer) with Bluetooth called Nokia BPM +.

The Nokia Body Scale will cost less than the Body Composition Scale, but it does not measure the heart rate or the muscle mass. There is also the Body Plus that measures muscle mass, and Cardio that monitors heart rate.
The Nokia BPM + _ is a band of blood pressure that is easier to carry than the old Withings offers_. The device, which costs US $ 130, uses AAA batteries.

Will Nokia Health Mate work the same as the Withings app?
This is tend to be so, since Withings will continue to develop all of Nokia's health products.
