Hello my friends,

I've always made it a habit to participate in this contest 1 Picture 1 Story orgnised by @suboohi , and I was confident it would continue but unfortunately it discontinued but I am still want to write.

Salman, who held a senior position at a pharmaceutical company in the town of Mithi—located in his home district of Tharparkar—was traveling to another city on official business. A woman was seated in the row behind him. His destination was still a little over an hour away; the bus was heavily crowded, and the congestion gave rise to a considerable amount of noise. Many passengers were even traveling while standing in the aisle.

Suddenly, a faint groan was heard coming from the woman seated in the back row. However, out of a sense of propriety, Salman felt it would be inappropriate to turn around and look. Then, at intervals of roughly five minutes, the woman's groans began to grow louder. At first, Salman assumed that someone must be accompanying the woman—someone who would surely look after her.

Salman was, by nature, a compassionate and decent man. Consequently, the very next moment—when the woman let out a sharp cry of agony—Salman could no longer restrain himself and turned around to look. He observed that the woman seated in the back row—who appeared to be around 35 or 36 years old—was clearly in excruciating pain; her face was pale and drained of color. He asked the two people seated next to her, "Is she with you? What seems to be the matter with her?" Both shook their heads in denial, indicating that they did not know who the woman was.

It now dawned on Salman that the woman was suffering from a severe medical emergency and that she was completely alone. He asked another passenger to take his seat, then moved to the seat beside the woman in the back row and, with genuine warmth and concern, asked, "Are you in pain?" The woman whispered in reply, "I am experiencing a sharp, shooting pain in my chest."

Without a moment's delay, Salman retrieved an aspirin tablet from his medical kit and administered it to the woman. Then, raising his voice loudly, he shouted, "Driver! I think this woman is suffering a heart attack! Please stop the bus near a hospital immediately!"

Coincidentally, the bus happened to be passing right in front of a private hospital located on the outskirts of a city. Salman helped the woman into the private hospital and explained her condition to the attending physician. After conducting a few examinations, the doctor informed them that the patient had suffered a minor heart attack; however, administering aspirin had normalized her blood flow and saved her life. He added that she would need to be admitted to the hospital for further diagnostic tests.

Without a moment's delay, Salman instructed the doctor to proceed with the admission. He then obtained the woman's family's phone number from her and contacted them to convey the news. He remained seated at the hospital until they arrived, diligently looking after the woman in the meantime.

After a wait of approximately five to six hours, the woman's elder sister and brother-in-law arrived at the hospital; they appeared to be quite wealthy. Upon their arrival, the sister and brother-in-law immediately thanked Salman for his assistance. However, Salman simply replied that it was merely his duty as a human being.

It later came to light that the woman was unmarried and served as a Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) in Salman's own city; she had been traveling to another city on official government duty.

Subsequently, once the woman—whose name was Suraiya haider —had fully recovered and returned to her home city, she one day unexpectedly visited Salman's office to express her gratitude for saving her life. The two have since become good friends.

I also want to invite here @sadaf02 @tammanna and @aviral123

Thanks for reading my story, With lots of love and respect,

Sur-riti❤️

Your story is very touching and instructive. You have beautifully turned a simple situation into a meaningful story. Salman's character in particular is very impressive, helping a stranger in a difficult time and exemplifying humanity at its best. The most beautiful aspect of the story is that it shows the importance of compassion, courage and timely decision making. You conveyed the message very well that one should always be ready to help others. It really made my heart happy to read your article, I hope you will continue to share such beautiful stories in the future.

Hello, friend,
To be honest, a comment truly touches the heart when it is infused with both praise and the right choice of words—and you are truly a master at this. That is why I will continue to invite you to review my posts in the capacity of a critic. Furthermore, should you ever point out any shortcomings, I will accept them most willingly—just as you did when moderating my very first post. I have been an admirer of yours ever since that day.
May you always remain happy.
