”Contest| The Joy of Togetherness"

Helo All steemian friends and Hindwhale friends,

I am always attracted to the thought-provoking competitions organized by Mr. Deepak Soni in the Hind- Whale community, and participating in them gives me great joy. I get the fragrance of the soil of my country in his competitions.

There is no doubt that we humans want to spend our lives tied to the bond of love. And that is why today once again I am participating in the competition Contest Alert || The Joy of Togetherness organized by him.

There can be no greater happiness in this world than the happiness of love and living together. It is not necessary that this bond is only in our family relationships, this bond of love and living together can also be formed with a friend or a colleague.

I have such a bond of living together with one of my best friends with whom I have been friends for almost 45 years, but this unbreakable bond of our friendship is still continuing. He is a friend of mine from high school, we studied together in high school, and in those days we used to fly kites together, read magazines, play Kabaddi, Gilli Danda, participate in school cricket, ride bicycles, do childhood mischiefs and tease our friends.

After passing high school, I changed my focus and took admission in another college and I did not get a chance to contact him for almost 10 years.

But one day when I was posted in another city and I had gone to watch a movie with my wife, I suddenly met my friend there, he was also married but he lived alone there and had become an assistant officer in the customs department.

Meeting him brought back childhood memories and we both spent many hours together and then this sequence continued, he used to come home to meet me and I used to go to his flat to meet him.

We used to talk for hours. My wife also respected him a lot and then we both tried hard and got our transfers done in our native cities, there both our families started meeting each other, his wife was also very friendly and cheerful.

Both of us friends were fond of playing carrom, badminton and chess, and both of us used to participate in local and inter-state competitions of these games and both of us used to win most of the medals.

Now our friendship has completed almost 45 years, both of us have retired, his 3 children and my only one child are married, and we have become grandparents.

But our friendship is still as warm as before. And whenever we get time, we meet and talk and get happy remembering the moments spent together.

That is why it is often said in our country that we may meet many people but the bond of friendship is formed only with someone special.
