If You Don't Surf The Wild Days, You Don't Deserve The Glassy Ones! [GoPro Shot Of The Day 📷]
Jay Samit said once:
In life you get what you believe you deserve.
I'm pretty convinced that life behaves in waves and circles: We get what we give, and after any deep down comes a big high!
That helps us especially in complicated life situations, where consistency and patience is required.
Mostly life rewards those who keep pushing not matter what.
@surfermarly pushing through the clouds
That's why we get what we deserve
As long as we're all set to literally give everything in order to achieve it, we may be able to accomplish almost everything.
In that context it's important to be true to yourself: Are you really giving it all, or just pretending to?
Remember that you can lie to everybody but never to yourself.
So here's my point: If you don't push on the rainy days, you won't deserve to enjoy the sunny ones - baaaaaam!
@surfermarly dancing in the rain
That's my theory about the universe :-)
Keep pushing, steemians!
Much love,

Always so inspiring and always enjoy your posts @surfermarly.
Thank you.
Thank you so much, Joooo! :-)
Hope you're going to have an amazing weekend ahead.
Well well well. This is one of the best posts I have seen all day. A motivation to all of us.
I completely agree. If we leave our comfort zone now so we can make something out of it.
If we work on the rainy day only then can we enjoy the sunshine.
Sweet!! :-) Thank you for the nice compliment, it's highly appreciated.
I'm following your blog now... the Nature lover part in your profile description convinced me right away :-)
Happy weekend!
Thank you my dear. Following you back. Cheers
Life knocks you out but if you can keep faith after repeated blows in the face, even the universe gives up and let's you have what you want 😂
Haha, nicely said Lucy!!! The universe gives up... oh yeah :-)
Have a great weekend!!
I'd like to add one phrase to the end of this ...
"In life you get what you believe you deserve, not what you think you deserve."
In line with what you said, your beliefs are deep down. Your thoughts are at the surface.
You're spot on @gikitiki! If this was a blog post, I'd resteem it right away :-)
Happy weekend for youuuuu!
Have a fantastic weekend in paradise!
Great words, great footage, great feet!
You were never destined to become an accountant were you ?
Have an amazing weekend :-)
#footfetishenabler ;-)
#footfetishenabler - is this a trending tag these days, I have no idea - haha :-D
Thanks for the compliments anyways @nathen007!
What did you mean by “becoming an account”? 🤔
typo..accountant* ,
I regularly invent my own tags as it's the only way i'll ever end up trending anywhere lol :-)
Haha, love this!! :-)
Well if you want I can feed your favourite tag with some more naked feet posts...
With regards to the accountant, I still don't get it. Must be a language issue though...? 🤔 Also I'm blonde... just in case you didn't know - lol.
ahhh In the UK, we use 'accountant' as a metaphor for a grey and boring career choice!
I really wouldn't have known English wasn't your first language. Again, it highlights the eternal shame of us English native speakers so rarely becoming proficient in any other language.
A quick flick down your previous posts suggest you're German? or at least speak German?
Many years ago at school, we were only allowed to study German if we were first able to speak French to a certain level......
Only managing to keep repeating the phrase 'ouvre la porte' in my French oral exam was not enough to get me on the German exchange program!
Luckily, on many travels around Europe, everyone (except perhaps the French lol) make it so easy for us by being so good at English.
I am of course 'a remainer'. I don't care about economic wins or losses, but I truly think we're losing out culturally and on a humanistic level, and that's very sad.
Okaaaay! Now I got it. Thanks for the explanation :-) I felt like a stupid idiot for half an hour now, haha
Exactly! Yet, I'm an expat and living on Canary Islands now... So even if my heart started to beat on German ground for the very first time, now it's on fire for the Spanish culture :-)
Talking about culture...I'm not sure if we're actually losing it. Every generation is different, and obviously technological progress changes our lives - and culture - in many many ways. Yet, I agree on the fact that human values are fading. We're living in a quite superficial and egocentric world.
Maybe that's one more reason to focus on community building, no matter whether this happens on- or offline.
Happy weekend, @nathen007! And thanks for the conversation which I enjoyed to the max :-)
Me too and thank you :-)
(PS I meant the British are losing out by leaving the EU)
Hasta Manana ;-)
Hasta mañana :-)
I'm going to say I agree, we generally get out of things—relationships, work, businesses, Steemit, investments, life—what we put into yhem.
That said, I'm not sure if we're always getting what we deserve. That implies some level of fairness that I'm not sure exists, at least not in a direct, quantifiable way.
Mostly, I think we end up with more than we deserve. There may be times we get less (and some people more than their share), and there are times where we get exactly what we should, but on average, I would say, under what I'll term normal circumstances, we end up with more out of something than what we really put into it.
I think that's probably because within these waves and circles there are powers at work (people, entities, organizations, what have you), that can exercise their will in ways that eventually benefit us. The opposite can be true, but again, by and large, we come out ahead in the equation. So, in my mind, we give ourselves credit where credit is due, and we acknowledge that there is more at work on our behalf than we are capable of doing on our own. :)
Solid point @glenalbrethsen!
Maybe it's rather: 'We get what we fight for.' And that's something I reeeeeally believe in :-) In the long run you do. Yet, most of us are not willing to go the long run - that's whay many believe life is not fair after all...
Obviously we're not alone on this planet, and other people and general circumstances have a considerable influence on our own situation. Yet, I strictly believe that - despite the obstacles - we've got always a chance to push through it.
So I fully agree on the very last sentence of your comment :-)
Interesting topic. I'm happy you stopped by and shared your point of view - always appreciated!
Have a great start into your weekend!
Yeah life behaves in waves and circles. Yeah well said that you cannot lie to yourself. Awesome lines and picture. Much love to you too.
excellent post ..loving to your blog.thanks for sharing..
Yes I do completely agree with it , it is us that decides the fate of us. If we give our all and do with with our heart and soul than we do deserve to be at the top , it might take time and but with the effort we can sure be there.
He sure is watching very carefully ;)
While thanks a lot beautiful for selecting my entry as the winner for the contest :)
I will use it to power up.Every effort counts.
Life is not too easy ... but we should believe in ourselves and work hard for our goals ...
