A 1-Hour Steem Discussion With SearhForUhuru (70k YouTube Subcribers) On How To Setup A Blockchain-Based Project Very Easily With Steem.

in WORLD OF XPILAR5 years ago (edited)

Kindly see the video above. It is a 1-hour livestream with a YouTube channel called 'searchforuhuru' with some 70K subscribers covering the topic, " Blockchain Tech and How To Set Up One Quickly For Say Diasporans Returning To Africa w/ Terry Ajayi".
Where possible, kindly drop a related comment on the video above!!!

searchforuhuru has a solid base of subscribers who are interested in 'world-adjusting discussions'. With more than 1,000 videos on his YouTube channel of these sort of discussions, our live-stream conversation is among the few times that the topic is related to 'blockchain technology'.

Yesterday, I had written a short proposal email and sent it to three YouTube channels, offering to appear in a live-stream on their channel to have discussions relating to 'how easy it is to implement a DAPP in relation to their enterprise'. searchforuhuru is 'one of two people' that responded and hours later (2AM Manila time), he invited me to a stream.

I spoke about Steem as being the perfect entry point for 'introduction to blockchain technology & digital currency' and related my own experience with regards to 'finding the Steem blockchain' as a newbie to 'blockchain technology' and the positive transitions i have made on it so far, in terms of 'building projects on it'.

I will be invited to a follow-up conversation to discuss "DAPPS". However, i would like to write an entire publication prior to the next stream, 'enlisting and discussing the various DAPPs currently present on Steem'.

Within the said live-stream, i reiterated on the fact that 'with Steem, you can already start your own DAPP by simple creating a Steem-community'.

I also discussed the possibility of creating a 'steem-based digital currency affiliated with your community', in relation to this publication: https://steemit.com/hive-185836/@surpassinggoogle/where-do-we-take-steem-from-here-this-publication-was-written-by-a-legitimate-illiterate-and-applies-to-all-blockchains

What was interesting to me by virtue of this particular live-stream discussion, is further evidence of the interest that the world at large had in this subject (e.g blockchain technology)'.

Looking at the chat-room, you will notice that people are indeed familiar with digital currency, perhaps, moreso than 'blockchain'.

I mean, "the recent Tron/Steem/Hive events", people in the chat-room appeared to know about it, even though they haven't actually used 'blockchain technology'.

A particular interest of people at this point in the scheme of blockchain has to do with "barriers to entry". People are actually looking for 'the easiest point of entry, when it comes to use of blockchain technology'.

In my discussion, i try to reiterate that "Steem it is". I wasn't able to reiterate this efficiently though as it is my first time ever on their stream and it was like 1-hour short. So, they have invited me to a next stream.

During the course of these stream, i was able to touch on 'DAPPS', like d.tube, 3speak.online etc

In the next stream, i will discuss in fuller details various Steem-based DAPPs and discuss the sign-up process. I will focus on '@appics, my steem-based tribe (marlians.com) and @dtube.

Then, i will especially focus on having 'searchforuhuru' sign up to Steem to setup his steem-community.

There is real interest in the subject of 'easiest-to-use blockchains', judging from the emails i received right after the stream, which had follow-up questions relating to 'what easy-to-use DAPPs can i join that will also help me learn about blockchain'. Further establishing the rhetorics found on this article: https://steemit.com/hive-185836/@surpassinggoogle/where-do-we-take-steem-from-here-this-publication-was-written-by-a-legitimate-illiterate-and-applies-to-all-blockchains

I provided viewers of the live-stream an article to read too, containing my journey to finding Steem and covering the 'steem-based DAPPS i have been building'.

On a final note, I got some new subscribers on UloggersTV too, a channel that will create awareness for a steem-born innovation and form of content called 'Ulogs'.

The live-stream so far has some 1500 views as seen in the image below:

Key points

One other way to market Steem is as 'a place to easily build blockchain-based projects (especialy content-based/social projects)'.

Having started the Steem tribe called marlians.com, i know that you can start a blockchain-based project on the Steem blockchain, with your own digital currency and exchange-listing (steem-engine.com) in the course of one week, even if you aren't a programmer and on a small budget. At the very least, you can start this process by 'setting up your steem-community (provisional DAPP) with as low as 15 STEEM.

Thank you a lot bro. Can’t have known you were there. I couldn’t expand on that well but I have post that answers it better: https://steemit.com/hive-185836/@surpassinggoogle/where-do-we-take-steem-from-here-this-publication-was-written-by-a-legitimate-illiterate-and-applies-to-all-blockchains

    Hi @surpassinggoogle

You are doing a very good job, thank you for sharing the interview with us.
The video is long but it doesn't matter when you talk about Steem blockchain and its beauty
