Light rain disaster
That day, the rain poured non-stop. We were forced to leave on duty. It was pouring down there, and we could barely see the sun because of the dark clouds. For one, two, three days, we began to wonder if we would survive until Friday.
No, I urged my two colleagues to go home immediately. If they didn't want to, I would go home myself, because the weather was starting to get scary. My two colleagues agreed to go home on the third day. On the way, water began to fill the main road.
We received news that the embankment in one of my colleagues' villages was about to burst, and floodwaters had already overflowed into residential areas. The public transportation we were traveling in was still operating as usual, but the roads were deserted due to fuel shortages.
I arrived home around 1 a.m. as the rain continued to pound the earth relentlessly. I didn't expect a flash flood to occur, wiping out several villages and homes. One of my relatives was even a victim of the flash flood.
It turned out that the light rain at the beginning actually brought an extraordinary disaster, luckily we had already gone home because the next day the Kuta Blang bridge was completely broken and we would definitely have been trapped there, now when it rains many people are traumatized, hopefully this disaster will not happen again.
That concludes my participation in this extraordinary contest. Thank you for stopping by and reading my post.

It’s a good thing you listened to your instincts and decided to go back. We should all do that: listen to our instincts. When it comes down to it, staying alive is more important than getting things done. What’s the situation with the bridge now? Has it been rebuilt, or is there a different one?
I can well imagine that rainstorms like this are traumatic and always will be. Rain is necessary to combat drought, but it can be very frightening.
Steem on! It was good to read you again.
That's right my friend, until now the bridge is not ready to be repaired and we have to queue for a long time to cross it and it is a waste of time but we have no other way to get through so we have no choice but to continue queuing.
This is not the first time I will listen to my instincts, I have also experienced the same thing before, even my life was at stake, Alhamdulillah everything can be resolved thanks to the power of Allah SWT who always tries without giving up on circumstances
Sometimes, light rain becomes a precursor to a major storm. In our country, too, it often rains continuously for several days, due to which the dams of the rivers break and floods occur, causing considerable damage. I am saddened by the loss of your people.
Thank you my friend for your best wishes, it is true that sometimes something that we think is not a problem actually brings a big disaster, previously when a tsunami occurred, people thought the sound of an explosion in the sea was normal because it was still in an emergency situation or because the military was training.
The sea water receded several meters and the fish were thrashing around on the ground. Residents came in droves to take the fish and at this time the tide came and swept the land and claimed quite a few lives.
It was rumored that the tsunami was man-made and devastated our nation, Aceh, so aid arrived promptly, as if waiting for its arrival.
I don't know exactly what happened because I was out of the area at the time and far from my hometown, Aceh.
