I don't think your analogy was all that poor @svemirac … and, besides...I happen to like dandelions very much. Here in the USA most people consider this wonderful pant an invasive weed, brought here by Europeans many years ago "as a food source".
Me...??? I still use it as a food source, and pick it for free in my backyard :>)

Beautiful pictures @svemirac and even though you claim your analogy to be "very poor" I believe your blockchain imitates nature comparison is spot on. For example, I see the milky way every time I pour creamer into my coffee or the Sahara when I look at the sand formations on the floor of a beach. Thank you

By reading different discord channels I was able to figure out how to change nodes and give myself some limited access... ability to vote, claim tokens, and even make a post. Quite amazing to me what I was able to accomplish. :)

It is amazing, and I don't like not being able to do anything on steem... ah addiction is hard with this one :) getting of fb was relatively easy, having no steem is urghhh :) let's say hard :)
Yeah, I'm so glad I gave up FB years ago. It never felt quite right to me. Of course like you say, now I have this steem addiction too. :)

Its awesome that Palnet is up and running and that there are ways of accessing and interacting with the blockchain even while other access points are experiencing issues. Multiple options is important.

Can you explain me why it's not happening? Is it because of infrastructure cost?
Cost, laziness, it requires a lot more skill than running a witness (nowadays you can get completely configured witness node, and run it with 2 commands)...
pick one :)
but yeah it is still way more expensive than just running a witness node, at some point we had to drop curie's node due to price and all other costs we had, but it shouldn't be much of an expense for people in top20 that are dedicated and know what they are doing. :)
