Hello friends! Tday I drawed The Frog Princess.
The Frog Princess is the Russian fairy tale.
In this magic story the king wanted his three sons to marry. He created a test to help them find brides. The king told each prince to shoot an arrow. According to the King's rules, each prince will find his bride where the arrow lands.
The youngest son's arrow landed near a frog.
This frog is a Princess, named Vasilisa the Wise- beautiful, intelligent, friendly, skilled girl who was forced to spend 3 years in a frog's skin for disobeying Koschei.
The king tasked his three prospective daughters-in-law various tasks, such as spinning cloth and baking bread. In every task, the frog far outperforms the two other lazy brides-to-be.
When Vasilisa sheds her frog skin, prince burns it...
Had the prince been patient, the Frog Princess would have been freed but instead he lost her- she turned into a cuckoo and flew away...
He sets out to find her.
On the way, prince saw an old man. The old man gave Ivan a tangle, promising that he would bring it to Vasilisa.
Also, the prince was saved on the road bear, drake, hare and pike
and meeted with Baba Yaga(supernatural woman which flies around in a mortar, holding a broom and dwells deep in the forest in a hut on chicken legs).
She tell the pince that Koschei is holding his bride captive and explains that a his can be killed with helped magic needle, in the chest on a tree.
Animals saved earlier along helped the Prince to find and get a needle.
Ivan broke her, Koschey died and Ivan returned home with Vasilisa.

I know 'The frog prince' story but never knew this one. That's a good inspiration to create artwork. I hardly can draw a line so what I see always amazes me. I love the way you use different colors.
