The Creation of Hazrat Adam (A.S) – A Divine Beginning
In today's blog, I will tell you about the creation of Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him). Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) has no name and no father, but Allah Almighty created him from clay. When Allah Almighty wanted to create him, Hazrat Gabriel (peace be upon him) ordered Hazrat Azrael (peace be upon him) to bring a handful of clay from the earth.
According to the command of Allah Almighty, Hazrat Azrael (peace be upon him) descended from the sky and picked up a handful of clay from the earth. The entire soul of the upper layer of the earth descended like a shell and entered his fist, which included 60 different types of clay, namely white, black, red, yellow, and soft and hard media.
Then this clay was ordered to be kneaded with different waters. So after a while, it became sticky clay. Then it was kneaded for a while, then it became a smelly slurry like mud. Then it became happy and became clay. Then a statue of Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) was made from this clay and placed at the gate of Paradise. Seeing this, the group of angels were surprised because The angels had never seen a creature with such a form and appearance. Then Allah Almighty ordered the soul to enter this body. So, when the soul entered and reached his nostrils, he sneezed, and when it reached his tongue, he recited Alhamdulillah and Allah said, "May Allah have mercy on you."
It is said in the Hadith that since the clay from which Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) was made was a mixture of clays of different colors and different qualities, his descendants, that is, humans, will be people with different colors and temperaments. He is the first prophet of Allah. He lived to be 960 years old and at the time of his death, his descendants had reached one hundred thousand, who began life in various directions and buildings and populated the earth.
The Holy Quran has repeatedly mentioned this subject that Hazrat Adam (peace be upon him) was created from clay. In Surah Al-Imran, it is said that the saying of Jesus is like Adam in the sight of Allah. He created him from clay and then said, "Be," and he immediately became.
