Atmospheres are very contagious. When I see who you follow, I can tell where you are going to. We pick most of our habits from environments, friends, mentors, parents and loved ones. Truth is, when you stay with a man for too long, you begin to act, talk and behave like him. It will always rub off. Never allow your friend to choose you, be the one to look for them. Certain people became limited because of the choice of friends they followed certain time.

Never trivialize the power of association.

Who you follow determines what follows you. Your weakness will not last too long when you begin to walk with strong and mighty men. Relationships are highly influential. A college student who is not bright will begin to do well in class when he starts moving along with intelligent students.

You need to walk with people higher than you, so they can provoke you to greatness. You will be limited in life when everybody around you is under you. If you want to achieve greatness, always be in check of your circle. Very important!

Life is like a chain. We are wired in such a way that we need each other to get to the top. And when you choose to de-associate yourself from that chain, you end up having a life of difficulties and frustrations.

People's destiny is directly tied to your destiny, and so is your destiny tied to another. This is a chain! We were made that way. And so if you must go far in life, you must learn to network with people. This call for carefulness. Not every person can help advance your life, some will only slow you down. Hence; you must give casual friends, casual time and spend quality time with quality people. Be intentional on whom you give access into your life. Very important!

The benefit for getting connected to people cannot be overemphasized. Beneath are few reasons;

1. Endorsement and opportunities: You may be good at a thing but if no man can endorse or recommend you to others, you can't achieve much. You need people to get you connected to people. Never trivialize the power of association.

2. Insight/Ideas: It's common knowledge that Idea rules the world. Everything around us today, is a product of one man's idea. When you associate with the right kind of people you won't run short of solutions to life's problem. The solution to most of your problems, lies in your ability to get connected to the right person. The one who has the answers to your problem. Life only gets complicated when we choose to fight alone.

In conclusion, who you follow matters. Remember, you are the average of the five most important persons in your life. Who are your friends? Who do you move along with? Are you getting value from that friendship? Examine yourself and change your circle if necessary. Information is only useful when you make the most of it. Act now!
