As Salamu Alaikum!

I hope everyone is in good health. Today, I am gonna show you the lifestyle of Arabs in Rahim Yar Khan. I bet most of you don't know that the Prince of UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Nahyan, who died in 2004 built a castle or, to be more exact, a palace in my city Rahim Yar Khan. So I wanted to share with you their life in Pakistan. Must read it.
First of all, I am gonna upload my picture so it can be the thumbnail of this diary.

Morning:-

My routine has been badly disturbed by Covid-19 because the universities are closed and even the online classes are at a stop due to a pause between semesters. However, I woke up at 11 am. I added an egg today to my breakfast but usually I drink tea as breakfast.

After having breakfast, I did some chores and went to the mosque as the time arrived. I offered my obligation and headed back home.

Afternoon:-

I took a shower, wore a black suit, sprayed on some colon, and as I sat down for using mobile. My mom asked me to go to a doctor and take the prescribed homeopathic medicine for my cousin. I went there and found out that the doctor was gone somewhere and I came back. Sitting freely, having nothing to do was the borest part but as I am a foodie, I craved samosas and bought some from the best samosa shop in town.

Lunch:-

They tasted awesome. After having a meal, I called my friend to go towards the desert but he delayed it till 4 pm because of the scorching heat. At 4, I picked him up from his house, bought cardamom tea from KFC and some water bottles.

Evening:-

We moved towards the Palace of Sheikh Zayed. The palace of Sheikh is combined with the desert as we all know Arabs love deserts and to offroad on their expensive SUVs. After covering a distance of 15 km, the gate to Palace appears.

First gate leading to Palace:

The number of Palm trees growing along with the palace and inside it indicates that Sheikhs love dates. The road going on the right is our way because the entry in Palace without permission from sources is strictly banned. Security is high there. Unfortunately, I cant show you the inside of the Palace. I captured a picture from outside the palace.

Don't be deceived by the picture, the palace itself is very big. I have zoomed in camera so that you can see some of it. As well as construction work is also going on inside the palace. There is a mosque near it where we offered our Asr Salah. Then we moved towards the next part which is its second gate.

Second gate of the Palace:-

This gate is often used by Sheikhs as it is on the way to the airport. Yes, you read it right, their personal or private airport. They live a lavish life here also. We headed towards the airport. The road leading to the airport was newly built and was looking beautiful. Let me show you.

Road leading to Sheikh's Al-Ghaiba Airport:

Now you will come to know, I was not lying about palm trees. At the end of this road, the gate of the airport appears. Entry to the airport is not allowed as it's a private airport.
Entry to Airport:

This airport is at the start of the desert. It is convenient for the Sheikh to travel to Palace which is about 2 km away from it. The second airport is inside the desert about 50km away from it. We moved into the desert as the weather was good.
From the start of the Palace, extending about 5km is the borderline for a place where Sheikhs have kept deers and the place is actually huge.

This cage protects the deers kept by Sheikh:

Going towards an offroad track:

IMG_20210908_173424-01[154].jpeg
As there was no traffic on the road, I speedily reached the offroad track and stopped my car at the start of the track because I had an FWD car that can get stuck. I just went there to take a picture which you can see below.

Then we moved towards the city before Maghrib to show you the last thing which is Sheikh's car garage. Sheikh has installed Air Conditioners for cars to protect their paint and leather. This car garage is built inside Etihad Garden where we are constructing our new house.

Sheikh's Car Garages from Outside:

Some of you wouldn't believe about the ACs installed but look at the ductways going inside the garage. Sheikh has two garages here and 2 or 3 near his Palace.

Why They Built Palace in RYK:-A

According to my, the main reason for building a palace in RYK is its desert and hunting Houbara Bustards. There may be another reason for building it.

Night:-

Reaching home, I offered Maghrib Salah and studied Quraan and its translation from Qari Sb. Then I offered Isha, went for a walk in Etihad Garden with my friend, and visited my house to make a check on the progress. That was the day I spent, I enjoyed it a lot. I don't know about you whether you were amazed by Sheikh's lifestyle or not. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan died in 2004 while his sons still visit this Palace for hunting and other purposes.
I hope you would have liked reading it. JazakAllah!
