The minnows seem to be safe, it's just the biggest investors that get their accounts wiped. Whales have always been a problem to begin with, we don't need them. :P
If you think you don't need 'whales' you are sorely wrong. Anything you are doing right now on Steem or Hive is because of whales. Anything you do on any piece of technology requires whales. You need investors to do anything.
Yeah, that was my point actually. The post was meant to drive home the ridiculousness of the HF. ;)
Ah, sorry hehe. I know there are numerous people on here that believe we don't need whales or people with large stakes. I've seen the comment threads and it just baffles me!

No, the comment was meant as satire. Ofc you need big investments to fund development, this HF ensures that won't happen anymore.
which hard earned money look on the list of accounts who will be affected, a lot of people who had taken the chance to double their funds (steem SP + HIVE HP) without doing nothing else than slap the new Investor in his face?
What about all the content creators who fill the pockets of the "Old Gang" didn´t they have the same right ?
Anybody on your side is thinking that the "old Gang" was overreacting in this and produced a huge damage to steemit, yeah but they don´t need it I know.
It´s not that nobody don´t need Investors, its about faith, behavior and good manner on this side also, and the HIVE buddies (the old Gang) throw the first stone without any substantial reason that´s the major point, nothing else matters ;)

This is very clear written story from what is realy happening before, I stated this for a long time before the hardfork that going this way (on the side of the old Top-witnesses and their big friends) will lead to reaction from JS who was forced to do so from the "Old Gang" so why now cry and try to find a bunch of shitty reasons to discredit him again?
It is all about trust in one and behavior nothing else.
The Old Gang hat taken a wrong decision, which hurts a lot of active and solid steemians, many of them not quite in line with their (the Old Gangs") reaction to JS, and now wondering what the´ve earned with, so what ?!
This was ok for them when doing it to JS, but geting hurt the same way by JS is not ok ?
I still wonder how silly some Investors could be to think that this can be working without any damages on their side, they got way less money than JS so normaly better make friend to him or acquire tons of extra money to beat him so.
Anyway the damage is done and somebody will pay the price ;)

All I've gotten is told I have tourettes, but the fool spelled it turrets, and i was supposed to be too stupid to catch his drift, though his sophisticated friends would know.
I was told straight out the gate that my content would not pass muster on steem, I don't see why the people making their own chain would change their content voting habits, so I stay here to see what Mr. Sun has in mind.
If i get rewarded here, I will continue beating my drum here, otherwise, I will put my attention to something else.
The same applies to hive.
Though, I may stay there just to be thorn in their sides.
You'd be surprised how quick a burr under a saddle blanket gets attention from other riders.
