There lived a man in a small village but that man had a very strange nature. He was a very stingy man and he only spent people's money and he loved it very much but he never spent a single penny from his own pocket and tried as much as possible to spend every day with other people's money but he tried to save all the money he earned and because of that, he became a very stingy man and gradually, this habit of his grew to a large extent.

And so it went on every day, but one day a strange thing happened. One day the man lost his 30 gold coins. Then he went home and found out that his gold coins were missing. He started searching like crazy. He tried to find those gold coins in every corner of the house but couldn't find them. Then he went outside and started searching everywhere, but still he couldn't find those gold coins.

Then the man was sitting under a tree in despair and then one of his friends went to him and asked him why he was sad. The man told him that he had lost thirty gold coins and that he was very sad because of that. He did not understand how to find his gold coins. Saying this, the man went to his house and the man's friend went to his house. Meanwhile, the man's friend had a little daughter. She found those 30 gold coins on her way home from school. When she got home, she told her father that she had found these gold coins on the way. Then the man's friend thought to himself that these 30 gold coins might belong to his friend. So he took the gold coins from his daughter and went to give them back to his friend. Then the man returned the gold coins to his friend. But then the man started to play tricks and said, I have lost about 40 gold coins. The remaining ten gold coins may have been stolen by your daughter. I have to return them. Then the man's friend got very angry and went home without saying anything. Then the stingy man went to the court with this complaint and then went to the court and told everything that happened. Then this will be tried.

On the appointed day, everyone reached the court and then the judge asked the man how many coins he had lost. The man said that he had lost 40 gold coins. Then the judge asked the man's his friend's daughter how many gold coins she had found on the road. The girl said that she had found thirty gold coins. Then the judge said that these coins might not belong to that man because that man had lost 40 coins so the man should return those coins to that girl then told that girl that you should take these 30 coins and go home and if anyone loses thirty goldcoins then you should come here and return them to him and also ordered that if anyone finds find 40 gold coins, then come to the court and return them too. Then the miserly man was in great trouble when he heard that he would be given back. He admitted that he had lied and that he had lost his thirty gold coins. But there was no use in saying this. The judge did not make any further decisions and did not say anything. After that, the man sat with his head in his hands.

Wow. This is a great story to learn from. Greed kills...
This reminds me of one of my high school mate who was stingy to the core. This guy will have money in his pocket but will never remove a dime to buy something for himself even if he's dying of hunger. He would rather beg others to feed.
On this faithful day, he came begging as usual. Little did he know that the #1,000 naira he had in his pocket fell off. Another friend of ours saw it and picked it up without telling him. He used that money to buy something for everyone there to eat and then gave the remaining balance to this stingy friend of ours.
Later that day, we saw our stingy friend searching frantically around. He scattered his bag, books and everywhere. We asked what he was searching for but of course he wouldn't tell us cos he always tells us he doesn't have money.
Greed kills.
