poetry : “Now You’ll See Me”
“now you’ll see me”

All this time, it all were in front of you…
You could see if you took a look –
Just for once…
But you didn’t care to …
You took me for a fool all along
And fool I was… but not so much
I could sense your every cheating breath-
Disguised beneath your sweet voice
Every dirt thorn hidden under your roses …
Your flower bed…
I could, cuz I looked; you could see me too
You could see if you looked
But you didn’t care to…
You took me for a fool,
And a fool I was, but not so much
I believed that with time, all realize…
Realize the worth of love … the worth of trust …
What a fool I was, believing in you all along
But now you’ll see – It’s not so much
Now you’ll see me, and realize what you’ve lost
Now … now you’ve lost me forever
I’ll never come back as I was
Alas! I was in front of you all along
You could see it all if you took a look
But you didn’t care to
Cuz’ you took me for a fool
Which I was not that much…
Now you’ll see me for what I am
And thus, know what you’ve lost ….
Note:
very recently, I’ve been hurt from a very close friend of mine. Whom I thought I could trust with my eyes closed with anything. However, the fellow has done something that will hurt me forever – he just broken my heart with a terrible lie for a very narrow benefit of his own, hurting me and another close friend. I don’t know if I can ever be that close as a friend again to anyone ever. This poetry is the expression of that sorrow I’m carrying right now. I couldn’t express my feeling to anyone and anywhere. I thank the Almighty Allah – that I’ve found this wonderful community here on steemit where I can share my feelings when it’s not possible everywhere else. Whoever reading this, thank you for being with me. You might not be able to measure how much this means to me, so hear it from me : IT MEANS A GREAT DEAL - and i thank you from the deepest and purest corner of my heart. I'm grateful to have you guys, my fellow steemians around......
I am sorry for what has happened to you, there are events that mark our lives and in what way. When the glass is broken it is better to throw it away, because its edges can continue to hurt. In return life gives us the opportunity of new airs, I am sure that new friendships and projects will come. Remember that you are a wonderful being, and you have yourself. In spite of all the unpleasant events that happen around us, life is beautiful and it is worthwhile to continue fighting it. I send you a big hug, you can always count on me.
