Before and after cancer amazing transformation

in #life2 years ago

The second pregnancy for Nastasia went smoothly for the first 6 months, but then excruciating back pain began. However, she was confident that everything would pass after the birth, as her tests were normal. She didn't suspect the shock that awaited her ahead. She woke up in the intensive care unit after giving birth with a crack in her spine, a fractured sternum and ribs, and severe pain. The next day after giving birth, her husband and brother came to her room, and Nastasia learned that she had bone marrow cancer, multiple myeloma, and that she faced a battle for her life - the cancer was aggressive, and the treatment would be very difficult.

Nastasia never doubted for a second that she would win, for the sake of her long-awaited newborn son, beloved daughter, and a husband who was always by her side.

She agreed to everything the doctors suggested: numerous courses of chemotherapy, bone marrow transplantation, then medications, and rehabilitation. She had to learn to walk again. In addition to treatment, she gave up sugar and many other harmful foods and switched to a completely different type of diet. But she found the strength not only to fight the disease and take care of her two children but also to engage in sports. Can cancer be an obstacle to that? No, it's just an opportunity to become an even better version of herself.

"I trained in the hospital bed, without equipment, without hair, with children, with pain, in the room and outside, in the gym and in the park, in the corridor and in the isolation ward. This is what reminded me - I am alive and must fight."

A year after treatment, she received one of the most important pieces of news in her life - she was in remission, and this time she unequivocally won!

Nastasia is healthy and happy now, she leads motivational courses and shares useful tips, and optimism is always the main ingredient in these healing recipes.
