Apart from those delicious Thai desserts that I mentioned in my previous post, in "Tainod Green Market", there are also Thai handicrafts that you can buy as souvenirs for your beloved ones or for your home decoration.

There are various styles of products that are made of bamboo or from Vetiver Grass; i.e. woman bag, tissue case, rubbish bin, mattress, basket, chair, etc. They are very cheap.

The following products are made of coconut shells.

When I was a child, I used to make pin in Snoopy shape from the coconut shells. Very good memory! ;)

You may choose Nang Thalung or Shadow puppets as your souvenir from Thaialnd – It was a famous show that most Southern people love. It’s originated from Phatthalung…

Thank you for the tour, I always enjoy checking out markets and seeing what cool things I can find.

Thanks so much for your great support to my works! Yeah! I'm glad to hear that! I enjoy buying cool things in the markets, too! ;)

What an interesting place to visit. And take things home from.
The little brown chair things, what are those for? (Besides sitting ( : ...)
There are many creative people in your marketplace, that's for sure. Thanks for taking us there today.

Thanks so much for your nice comment! Yes, it's really interesting place for you to visit indeed! You are welcome to this market at any time! ;)

Regarding the little brown chair.... Good observation! Yes, it's not use for only sitting. If you can notice, the head of the chair which is wrapped with the white paper is used for coconut scraping..... This is the equipment that we used in our kitchen in the old days.... We seldom use it nowadays! But, that's good memory for remembrance! ;)

I wondered if it was for something like that. My first thought was to use as shoe repair. Coconuts, shoes, guess there is SOME similarity there ( :
The market does look like a lot of fun. And so much to take home from there.

Good guess! Um! Coconuts and shoes.....I could not imagine what's part of them is similar! ;))

Yeah! If you visit the market, you will have a lot of fun and plenty of products to take home, for sure! ;D

Such beautiful souvenirs and once again, made from natural products. Do you have a photo of the Snoopy pin you made when you were a child? I bet it was cute. I would love to buy many of the items pictured. I bet it would be expensive to ship the small items to the U.S.

Thanks so much for your super comment! Yes, the products that made from natural things are really great indeed!

I think I kept the Snoopy pin in a save place.....but I forgot where it is nowwwww! ;)

Yes, it would be much expensive to ship those small items to U.S. The best way is that you have to travel to the market by yourself, so that you can buy them in cheap prices and you can admire other places in Thailand as well. Do you agree with me? ;D

I sure do agree with you...10000000%! : ) : ) : )

That's great! ;))))
