Than Bok Khorani National Park, one of the famous places with wonderful nature in Krabi province, in the South of Thailand

Krabi province has many beautiful places as I presented some photos of the beaches and the islands to you in my old posts.

Nature in Krabi is abundant, as I told you before, apart from those ones that you already saw, “Than Bok Khorani National Park” is another good example.

It’s said that Than Bok Khorani National Park is “a big forest in the middle of the community” Yeah! You can proof it via the photos…

Than means stream

There is a stream flowing through the cave called “Thum Nam Lod”.

Thum means cave

Nam means water (in this case, it means stream)

Lod means pass-through (or flowing through, in this case)

In front of the cave, you will see a large natural pool called “Sa Than Bok Khorani”

The water is very gorgeous with the emerald color. Many people enjoy jumping and swimming in the water for hours.

The water from the pool flows along the rocks into a small-tiered waterfall and creates wonderful nature;

Hot Stream and "Nam Tok Ron"

Ron means hot

Blue Pool or Sa Nam Pud.

Sa means pool

Nam means water

According to the sign, "Blue Pool is a natural spring in the forest. It is the beginning of the Emerald Pool." (or Than Bok Khorani)

Most of the area has shady atmosphere and is great for relaxation indeed.

If you visit Krabi, I would recommend you to visit Than Bok Khorani National Park. You will not be disappointed.
