Guantanamo Block

I know that some people have been saying how Steem feels like old times and I think that they are right. It is nice to see trade analysis back in Trending - it has been too long!

Perhaps all the oldies who complained about the development over the years will return and pick up where they left off. Maybe now that there is a contraction in distribution and a few large stakeholders in control, perhaps N*2 could be brought back in to increase holder earnings? Hyperinflation also? Everyone loves collecting coins, print more!

Of course, some people will benefit more than others but that is the way of the world, as no system is ever going to suit everyone, so perhaps it is best that those who have the power, should design the system to best suit their own needs - that way at least one group can be satisfied and that is better than no groups getting what they want completely.

It is actually a very good approach to the design of an economy as it has already been in usage for hundreds of years and we can see by how satisfied the 0.1% are with the system, at how solid it is. Modeling it would mean that Steem can have similar kinds of gaps, where those with the least can look up and admire those with the most and then strive to be like them, perhaps seek employment under the organizations they run. We all want to be admired for our ability to collect wealth and this would mean a huge amount of admiration for some people by those who are not as good at it.

Of course, there will be dissidents to the system, but there is already a solution for that, digital prisons. Those who rebel or look to change the system are traitorous and therefore, it is off to Guantanamo Blockchain - their assets seized.

Steem is a funny old place. Three-plus years here and it still surprises me how some people act around money and power - Each thinking they are rational actors. There have been a thousand large disputes on Steem in the last 4 years, none of them amounted into a forked chain, none of them locked up stake of private investors, none of them put the blockchain in a position of censorship and insecurity of holder funds - until now.

Perhaps this is the next step in the evolution of Steem that will take it mainstream as it is familiar, people all over the world are already accustomed to this kind of system and therefore, it is easy to accept. Familiarity is important for the adoption of new technology - and it is good to have a place that feels like home.

Well said. Now that steem is saved from those hackers that were making all sorts of dubious decentralized apps, we can finally start creating the best centralized product.

After all history has shown that to be big in this world you need a ruler with infinite power.

If you want success, don't let the people have a choice. Henry Ford had it correct with, any color you want, as long as it's black.

And as we all know,

once you've had black

Hahaha! OMG! You are too funny. :)

Home never felt so... Oh, hell, no. Not going there. Show me where the line to stand in is.

For an authoritarian dystopia nightmare, it is very poorly signed :)
