Tandoori Chicken


It's probably very hard to find people who don't like to eat chicken tandoori. The name Tandoori Chicken comes from the method of cooking. It is called tandoori chicken because it is cooked in the tandoor oven. If there is no oven in the house, then anyone can make this dish in the microwave. Today I cook this tandoori chicken in our microwave.

From the left," sour yogurt, Ginger paste, chili powder, paprika, black pepper, hot spice, kabab spice, tandoori spice, and mixture of all of these Ingredients."

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 Tablespoon- Salt
  • 2 Tablespoon-paprika
  • 1 Tablespoon - kabab spice
  • 2 Tablespoon- tandoori spice
  • 1/2 Tablespoon - hot spice paste
  • 3 teaspoon Ginger paste
  • 1 Tablespoon mustard oil
  • 1 Tablespoon - chili powder
  • 1 Tablespoon - Garlic paste
  • 1 Cup - sour yogurt
  • 1 Tablespoon -black pepper powder

At first make peace of your chicken with skin according to your requirement (I took 4 legs and 4 breast, the size would be like two and half Kg).

First, wash the chicken with water and chop the chicken with the tip of a knife so that the spices go inside the chicken. The more you dig, the more spices will enter the chicken.

Now rub the meat with the paste of lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, tandoori spice, kabab spice, hot spice powder, chili powder, paprika, black pepper powder, sour yogurt, mustard oil, and salt. It should be applied to the skin so that all the spices can reach inside the meat.

After marinate with all the ingredients, keep it in the fridge overnight. If you wish, you can keep it for 1 hour or you can keep it overnight. You can also marinate it for 1 day. The longer the marinade, the more spicy the chicken will be and the tandoori chicken will be tastier.

The oven should be heated to 180 C (350 F). Spread the aluminium foil paper on the baking tray, put the chicken pieces, sprinkle mustard oil on it, and bake in the oven for 60 minutes. After 20/25 minutes, turn the chicken upside down with a spoon and put it in the oven.

Once again the chicken has to be turned upside down. When the chicken is burnt, it should be taken down. Care must be taken not to burn too much. Once the tandoori chicken is done, sprinkle lemon juice, dried fried chili powder/chaat(optional) spices on it, and leave it in the oven for another 5 minutes.

When you realize that the chicken pieces are done, take them down and sprinkle a little lemon on top and serve with nan bread, polau, or fried rice.
