RE: The Stan Ban LOL

in #bitshares6 years ago

Thanks for this @onceuponatime.

Bitshares was my first non-major alt-coin that I bought (outside LTC and ETH) when I got into crypto. I have held them a number of years. As one who is dedicated to Steem, I see the infighting on there and must say, it is nothing compared to what takes place within Bitshares. It is no wonder the token struggled to gain any traction.

There is certainly a faction that seeks to discredit all work that is not within their area of agreement. @stan has seemed nothing but genuine to me and I am happy that I latched onto what him and others like @michaelx are doing. Naturally, I do not know either of them personally thus do not get involved in the personalities. I simply watch what they are doing and creating.

It is sad that many who are newer and did not have the opportunity to watch Stan etal discuss the creation of BEOS (along with some of the other apps) over the past year plus are swayed by those who feel that they are somehow being slighted.

Isn't it interesting that a project like this can be panned when any BTS holder was free to stake his/her holdings and receive BEOS (along with RAM)? How can one, in good conscious, blast something they were free to participate in? Of course, one could say it is a scam or the principles are unethical, but, even if that were the case, nothing was lost (unless Dan N. runs off with the BTS). Outside that, every one who staked is free to remove the BTS at any time.

As we all know, naysayers will be naysayers no matter what happens.

Let's see what they say when BEOS is at a buck a token down the road. They really screaming then.
