Will Cryptocurrency Allow The Goodness Of Humanity To Flow?steemCreated with Sketch.

As I write this, it is Christmas Eve in the states. The holiday season is one where people try to be a bit kinder, more caring, and, overall, better people.

I read a story on @dlike that I wanted to comment upon and share with you all. Actually, I have to mention what a great resource that is becoming. Even though there are still some bugs in the system (awaiting the update), I find some really interesting stuff posted on there.

Anyway, there was this article posted about a couple who run a company that makes toy cars. The cars simple in design and each one is given away. Nothing is sold and all the work is done by volunteers. This firm gives away about 120K cars a year to people all over the world. The worker are retirees and people in prison.

According to the article, the average age of the "employees" is 80.

This got me thinking about the world of cryptocurrency. To me, this is a 5D creation that is going to uplift humanity. It helps to remove us from the scarcity system that we are all embedded in and elevate ourselves to a higher level.

We are seeing discussions about the nature of work becoming more commonplace. With advances in technology, which cryptocurrency is, the outlook for jobs could be grave. What will this do to the esteem of humanity? After all, do people not get their worth from their work? What would they do if they have nothing to do all day long?

Personally, I do not buy into this one bit. People have worth simply because they breathe. Also, if you look at the jobs people do and the satisfaction levels, few are deriving any worth or pleasure from their work. It is simply modern day slavery.

Nevertheless, here is an example that answers this question. We see a group of people, who do have time on their hands, who are doing for others. They are not sitting home watching game shows and drinking beer. They are out, being productive and contributing.

A large part of my thinking towards the world now has the monetary system at the core. I feel this was erected in such a way to keep people immersed in fear. Being based in scarcity (hell it is grounded in debt) leads most of us to be left out. I think almost all of you know what I am referring to since most of us studied money/banking to some degree which is why we are into cryptocurrency to begin with.

A system like this keeps us in check in two ways. To start, it works us to the bone. Over my working career, I saw a huge shift. When I got out of school, two family incomes as a necessity were just becoming commonplace. I would say it was about 1.5 at that time. Most could not get by on one income but it was not yet to the point were the second full time job was required.

Now, we see a system where a vast portion of the developed world cannot make ends meet with two full time incomes.

The second aspect to this is when we do get a bit of money saved up, the fear sets in. We are afraid to share it because we know how scarce it is. Let us be honest, when one is accustomed to walking the line of meeting all the bills, the idea of sharing when there is a little extra goes against sound logic. Saving up makes a great deal of sense. Experience taught us that there is another whammy around the corner.

Certainly, this is not abundance. Perhaps I am a bit of a conspiracy nut, but I feel this is by design. Looking at the wealth distribution and how the inequality rates are growing at an accelerating rate, I can only conclude that those making the rules know exactly what is taking place. In the end, decisions are not favored for all of us. It is only the select few that benefit.

Cryptocurrency can change all that. Steem is a prime example of a way to alter the balance. Here is a situation where people, today, can join the blockchain and earn money. Whether it be in STEEM, SBD, Hunt, or any other token, most of these will have value down the road. What they will be worth is not known especially since we are not to the point where the technology is developed (i.e. an internal exchange or even the SMT protocol). However, I fully believe we will see both of those in 2019.

What happens as more people realize the benefits of cryptocurrency? How are lives changed where not everyone needs a boat load of fiat to convert to participate in what is happening? I would think that some of the pressure people experience from the scarcity model will be lessened.

Naturally, my view is that those who are on here now, and active, are going to really profit. Early adoption traditionally enjoys massive benefits. I see no reason why this should not be any different.

Which brings up the major point: what do we do once that pressure is relieved? How are things affected when we realize the resources are available for creation to spread the same love and joy as this toy company?

We are in the development phase with blockchain and cryptocurrency. This not only is true for those coding and creating applications. It also holds true for our models as a society. We are just beginning to think of ways to alter funding. Is there a way this toy company could be tokenized to create even more impact? Are there other things we can create which can be passed out similar to their cars, even if not in a physical form?

This is some of the thinking that we are going to see moving forward. As the fear subsides, we begin to operate from a different headspace. I witnessed the transition within myself. My view is that cryptocurrency is going to provide me with opportunities I otherwise would not of had. At the base layer, this deals with finances yet builds from there. I know we are real early in this game and can only ponder a bit of what will eventually evolve out of all of this.

For now, we still see the same behavior due to conditioning. We also see most of us who are still tied to the scarcity model for the time being. The recent bear did not help in this regard. Nevertheless, this will not always be the case.

So what is the next level of our evolution in "crypto consciousness"? Will this serve as a springboard for helping humanity. What can we do when we are not mired in the scarcity mindset that almost all of us were conditioned with? How much potential do we have when we are immersed in an abundant monetary system?

As we progress through this holiday season, I want to share thoughts with you. It is easy to get caught up in the financial. Yet, for us to reach our potential, I feel we need to set our sights higher. I feel there is an opportunity before us that few ever encountered. We are at a point in time where, because of a white paper that came out a decade ago, the entire landscape changed. What was reserved for the few is now available to the many.

The big question is what are we going to do with it?

If it is all about Lambos and mansions, then I feel we might blow our chance. If we realize that moving to a different zip code is not the destination but just a step, then we can really unleash what cryptocurrency can do.

I wish all a wonderful holiday season and safe New Years.

2019 is going to really be a great deal of fun, especially on Steem.

I heartily agree with all you have said and find it most refreshing. Few that I can see are knowing and saying this. I think crypto right now is being manipulated by those that have money. I also think that more people are coming to see what you've said; a few years ago there was hardly anyone saying these things, that I could see. But things are getting so that more and more people are seeing that the rich are getting richer and the rest of us have to work in the scarcity model that seems to have been built. I have hope for the future, and I feel that things could change very fast... I live in hope...

This past year has opened me much more to this opportunity given the things I have seen here on this ecosystem m. Whereas in the past I was looking at Crypto as a way to gain financial alone, I now see it as a move towards collective abundance for the masses. Thanks for the hear of sharing these thoughts to expand our minds.
