Food court in the creative space Berthold Centre

I took this short walk last July.

The Bertgold Center is a creative space in the center of St. Petersburg in the buildings of the former factory for the creation of typographic fonts for manual typing. Before I knew the history of this building, I had never thought that typographic printing required the creation of not only typographic machines and other similar equipment, but also special factories for creating fonts.

Creative space was opened in 2016. This is the third project of space leaders. The first two were very interesting, but they were created too large and could not withstand market competition. This project is more compact, and seems to be more successful. I really hope that quarantine will not kill this project and after quarantine is over I can again go into these cafes to have a cup of espresso.

On the ground floor there are mainly cafes and bars, and above - shops and studios. I went upstairs to take panoramic shots of the courtyard.
