CAUSEE- The new face of e-commerce

The rate at which global e-commerce is garnering widespread attention is not something that gets to make the news anymore due to the fact that people people see online trading as the new norm which makes buying and selling as seamless as possible. This is best depicted by the fact that online shopping represents over $2.85 trillion USD in global sales and this amount is expected to almost be doubled by the year 2021. Considering the amount being generated by major e-commerce companies, we still suprisingly find a way to thrive in an ecosystem riddled by shortcomings which include; poor buyer protection, manipulation of fees by vendors, vendor chargeback, very little or no details about vendors among several other things. After listing some of these shortcomings, I believe you will agree with me that an overhaul is actually needed to give the e-commerce sector a facelift.
Introducing Causee
Causee comprises of a team of concerned people who seek to enhance user experience within the e-commerce sector. The team has come to recognize loopholes which could be an opportunity to share a piece of the market while seeking to offer users some features which have never been seen in the e-commerce industry. Causee is modelling an ecosystem which consists of a number of activities which include shopping, gaming and a fundraising application that has the potential to remodel the e-commerce landscape. The whole idea of this project is based on the premise that a change is needed in purchasing habits and also the need to reward users for their participation within the ecosystem.
As much as I really do like to focus on the shopping aspect, the platform actually does consist of three key features which happen to be interdependent. These features include;
- Shopping: The Causee platform offers users the opportunity to buy items listed on shopping boards with up to a 90% discount. The items so listed will be sold from company inventory, vendors and sponsors.
- Gaming: The gaming aspect is introduced with the intention of catching the attention of the customers, thereby speeding up the habit transformation.
- Fundraising: Upon the conclusion of every shopping board, a fixed contribution will be provided to the
supporting cause.
Some key features which make Causee a good proposition for users
- No transaction fees: Customers are only charged for the worth of their goods without incurring any hidden charges.
- No chargeback: This will be some really good news for vendors as they won't have payment being returned to the user after delivery of goods.
- Verification of vendors: Customers can be sure they will be deal with legit vendors as all the vendors would have been thoroughly vetted by the Causee platform.
- Discounts of up to 90%: These discount rates are next to unbelievable. However, the Causee platform promises it's users such.
- Satisfaction and express delivery of goods is guaranteed: With Causee, users will have no need to worry about goods not being delivered on time or being in substandard condition.

The team also plans to burn unsold tokens after the end of the public sale.

Closing thought
Due to the shortcomings which we have been compelled to live with within the e-commerce ecosystem that still act as a turnoff for a lot of people looking to enjoy this new pattern of trading, I believe Causee is coming into the equation at a perfect time to further improve the image of e-commerce.
