Tech Job Update: Cryptocurrency Developers in High Demand!

in #bitcoin7 years ago

There are many benefits to being involved in a new emerging market. Generally there is a term for people who get in early in markets. When someone gets in early they usually call it 'the smart money.' And this group of people are given this title for a valid reason. They had the vision and saw the trend before the masses did. They capitalized on it.

Everybody who has been watching or remotely paying attention must have seen cryptocurrency valuations explode over the past year. A while ago all we heard was bubble or fake when someone mentioned Bitcoin. Now it seems friends, relatives, and coworkers are all buzzing and excited about Bitcoin.

However, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies aren't just creating new wealth, they are creating something even more important, you might have guessed already, they are creating jobs.

I've been making cryptocurrency gains writing blog posts and pushing them to the Steem blockchain through Steemit for over a year now. In addition to opportunities to sort of make your own job, something that is possible and available now, big corporations are stepping in looking to headhunt!

You may be interested to know what kind of jobs are being created specifically. So lets take a look shall we?

From a job seeker's perspective, there has never been a better time to be on the market as companies like Uber, eBay, Capital One, Match.com, and GEICO are all highly interested in hiring candidates who have experience with "bitcoin" or "blockchain" listed in their skillset.

It would be hard to argue that given the widespread adoption of cryptocurrency this trend will continue to increase exponentially and having skills related to blockchain will be extremely valuable. They may even land you your next job if you really know your stuff!

What kinds of things do you see blockchain integrated into in the next few years? Have we found a technology that is so valuable that web 2.0 will decide to adopt it in favor of creating web 3.0?

Please leave your thoughts and comments below!

More and more cryptocurrency will be created and most of them will die.

The problem is affording people that have experience with cryptocurrency... Haha.. I mean anyone smart enough to learn about it is getting rich and doesn't need to work.

Yes. That is a real problem but if they are like me, I'm still willing to work for an extra large salary if I like the working environment and the people it gives me access to.

Do you know of any resources where a beginner can learn the basics and eventually become a proficient coder?

I think a great place for you to start is CodeAcademy.com, I've played around there and it seems helpful.

Well done,well played

The jobs belong to the bots/AI. The smart ones will chill and be free. Live off of the interest...

Great starter post, I was hoping for a little information on what skill-sets and what types of jobs are available, does anyone have any examples?

I've only played around and talked with developers but anyone who knows C++, Ruby on Rails, Javascript (specifically nodeJS and sailsJS) are in high demand. There is also a need for python developers and basic front end web developers so the sky is the limit if you know how to code!

Im so new to this but really want to get in on it. As a full time mom this is something that just makes sense especially when our housing markets continue to rise, wages arent keeing up and big corporations have had too much control over every aspect of our lives (food, energy, medical etc.) I hope this is the back door, the freedom from our twisted system. Was going to start small with $250 at cryptobroker called Binary Cent. They will give you a 20% bonus for starting up. Im very amazed at the way this is taking off. Very exciting! Any suggestions for a #minnow ?

I don't know how much #Gold there is in the ground, but I know how much bitcoin there is, and in two years there will be 300 million people in the world trying to get their hands on a few million #Bitcoin

Yes. It's finite nature makes it quite scarce doesn't it? I also like Bitcoin Cash for that same quality.

until many people come to the realization that cryptocurrecy is the future money i will continue to be an illusion

Deep and metaphorical. I like it.

Wow this is amazing jobs created by the big companies

Thanks for sharing. I have been looking up blockchain development myself. I read an article on how there's all this new demand, but no one to fill it. There's not that many resources on blockchain as well.

Well, it is experiencing exponential growth in terms of both development and valuations. Check out EOS, humanity's best hope. I say that jokingly but it is a very impressive undertaking and modeled after Steem and BTS so it will certainly be blazing speed right out of the gate!

Yea, I love the EOS project, but I think the token is complete and udder BS crap.
