Check Out My Cousin's Drawings + Spending Time With Him (ULOG Day 129)
Hey guys!
My cousins and aunts went back to their own places today, so it's kind of silent at home. I'm gonna get back to work tomorrow as well, but I'll do my best to share something here. Well, it might be in my anime blog, @harulovesanime, as well.
Anyway, I mentioned in my previous ULOG post that my cousin and I spent time together and we drew something as usual. I showed in my lst post my drawing which I gave to him. It was a Tony Tony Chopper drawing and I'm glad he likes it. <3 Today, allow me to share his drawings.
While taking a break from making my fanart, I took a picture of my cousin. He looks so serious, but it makes me happy how passionate he is at drawing. I am proud to say that I have somehow influenced him in this craft as he sees me drawing a lot and he saw my artworks. So, when he told me he's interested to give drawing a shot, I didn't hesitate and support him by giving him tips and teaching him the basics. When someone is interested in trying something new, if it's for a positive thing, then, let's support them!
He's also busy at school, actually, but I told his parents to support him in his craft as well. I have been a student and when I got the chance to enjoy what I want to do, I also did better at other things like the academics. I'm so lucky to have supportive parents, so I am more than willing to support people, especially students/kids who are interested in the same craft I have. <3
As I have mentioned in my anime blog @harulovesanime, my cousin has taken a liking to One Piece. My aunt old me how he and I share not only the passion for art, but also for anime. Ahh~ it makes me super happy. :)
I am super proud of my cousin. He has improved a lot. I still have his previous artworks and when I showed them to him, he too, was surprised at his progress.
Since he loves art and One Piece, I decided to give him my One Piece coloring book. I have actually just colored one page from that book, so I gave it to him as a reward. When my father took them to the bus stop earlier, he told me that my cousin was busy checking out the pages of the coloring book happily.
Another thing that surprised me was our love for ZHC. ZHC is an art YouTuber who I admire for quite some time now. We were just talking about random stuff when our topic got into hair color. He mentioned that whenever he sees Zoro, he remembers his favorite art YouTuber who also has green hair. I had a feeling that it's ZHC, so I asked him... "Hey, do you also watch ZHC?" and his face brightened.
I wasn't expecting this!!! The last time we talked about YouTube, he was only checking some Minecraft-related videos or Trivia videos... but then. OMG! We couldn't stop talking!! We both love ZHC and Turkey (ZHC's plushie). And yes, y'all... My cousin is more than 1/3 my age. :) When it comes to art and passion, age really doesn't matter! (^^)v
I didn't tell him to do that poster, but when he showed it to me... I took a picture of him and sent it to ZHC's IG. Hopefully, he'd get to see it. <3
It's really fun to have the same interests and hobbies with someone. I hope to spend time with my cousin again... and when we do, it'll be a blast.
Thanks a lot for checking this post. Have a great one, everyone! (^^)v
These drawings are beautiful... Is this the same 9yrs old cousing you mentioned in the other post?
Yep... that's him. ☺ He has improved a lot and shows huge potential. (≧▽≦)
