Drawing Chibi Luffy on an Ice Bucket (fanart)
What's up beautiful people?!!!
I believe this year is the year of customization. lol My favorite art YouTuber ZHC has been customizing a lot of iPhone and earpods by painting something on them and giving them to his friends, fans and a whole bunch of lucky people. I have always thought of trying out stuff like that but I don't have the art materials I can use for such things.
This morning, my papa bought an ice bucket as a preparation for the upcoming Christmas. We sell beverages in our store and during this time of year, demand for beverages is high so we need more storage or containers to keep them cool. The refrigerators we have at home are not enough for it because we also have to put in several ingredients and stuff for our simple celebration.
He then handed me the ice bucket and asked me to write "ARASHI" on it. Arashi is our lovely pet's name and we usually put his name on the properties we use for the store. After I playfully wrote "ARASHI" on it, papa told me... "Draw anything you want there!" and so, I did.
I was able to finish it today despite having classes. During my break time, I go out and continue doing it. It was fun, but I had to set my alarm every time so as not to miss my classes. This part you see is the side of the bucket. I took some photos of the process.
I completed this part before my first class. I was a bit scared because if I made a mistake, I won't be able to erase it. Also, I chose not to sketch using a pencil in order to save time. Luckily, everything went well.
As the drawing looked dull, I decided to paint it. I'm just using my poster paint to color it, so papa will find way to cover it so it won't get erased soon.
I had 2 break times in the afternoon, so I finished the painting quickly before dinner. hahaha xD
I finished this side, but I'm planning to draw Naruto on the other side during my break time tomorrow.
I also have to finish the front and back part with the "ARASHI" name on it. This is going to be the front part, so I'll try to wake up earlier tomorrow so I can finish more than I did today. If only I can afford not to work and just paint. lol But no.. I'm broke and there's still the bills waiting for me. hahaha
