Family Day at CROCOLANDIA! <3 <3 <3 (a pre-celebration for Godwyn's birthday!)
As I have mentioned in my previous post at Dlive, I'm going to share a lot of pictures and story about our family time at Crocolandia. From the name itself, CROCOLANDIA is a crocodile farm. However, it's more like a mini zoo because aside from crocodiles, there were also other animals such as birds, other reptiles, fish and land animals.
From our place, it's only around 5 minutes away by car, so it's pretty near. This isn't the first time I went to Crocolandia, but it's my first time to go with Godwyn... so it's an entire different story.
We rode a tricycle (a motorcycle with a sidecar) going to Crocolandia. I was with my mama, papa, aunt and Godwyn. We arrive there at around 2 in the afternoon, so it was a bit hot. However, the place is full of trees and nature, so we could breathe and experience fresh air.
Before entering the place, we have to pay an entrance fee. For the adults, it's Php100 or $2, while it's Php50 or $1 for the kids. It's actually a good deal because you get to see a lot of crocodiles and other animals. There's also a playground for kids and other stuff to enjoy.
Upon entering, you'll get to see the "I Love Crocolandia" spot which is perfect for taking a picture with your family and friends. Now, allow me to show you around Crocolandia. These are some of the many wonderful views you'll get to see there. It's a bonus that we went there on a very fine day!
The whole vicinity is actually quite huge. And despite the blazing brightness of the sun, the place was really cool. You'll get to feel fresh and relaxing breeze. It's also pretty nice to just stay there and enjoy nature from time to time. Of course, I also took pictures of the various animals that were in the vicinity. Of course, we had to turn off the flash and had to make our voices low so as not to disturb the animals. Enjoy the next set of pictures below! <3
Those are just some of the pictures of the animals I took in Crocolandia. Also, in Crocolandia lies a really huge crocodile. Its name is Lapu-Lapu and it is 17ft tall. According to the caretaker, Lapu-Lapu is already 60 years old. The last time I went there around 4 years ago, Lapu-Lapu was around 15ft tall. By the way, it's a bonus to go there on a Sunday because at 3pm, they're going to feed Lapu-Lapu, so people can see it better.
Luckily, although Lapu-Lapu didn't come out from the water, it stayed near the fence and I got the chance to take a picture of it.
Isn't Lapu-Lapu cute? Just look at its eyes! hihihi~ Aside from the living animals we could enjoy watching and observing, they also have a museum in the vicinity. In the museum, they have preserved body of animals, the bones, skin, etc. It's also a very educational place that schools often have a field trip there.
Not only do they have animals in Crocolandia, but also some plants especially lovely flowers. Of course, I didn't miss the chance to take pictures of them.
Lastly, the family bonded over some ice cream. They have an open cafeteria where you can buy and eat something. Beside it is a playground too, so I and Godwyn bonded by playing there. It was exhausting but we totally enjoyed! I hope to go back there with other cousins and friends, too!
In the end, we all went home with a bright smile on our faces. Thank you so much, Crocolandia! Until we meet again! (^^,)/

Wow.. Thank you so much for featuring my post... :)
It looks like a nice place especially for nature and animal lovers. But to me, I'd run away screaming when I get to see those crocodiles and the snakes. It gave me chills on my spine just by seeing those photos of the crocodiles and especially the snake.
Anyway, it's good to see you and Godwyn happy visiting Crocolandia. You sure are a
teenchild at heart :PAhahaha... I'm always young at heart, Chamu-imouto! hihihi~ ^^
Ohh... you're the same with Godwyn's mom... so the whole time, shelooks away especially when we went to see the snakes.. hahaha xDD It's a great place, indeed!!! :D

Looks like fun, although maybe I would pass to pet a crocodile myself lol
It was fun... but petting a crocodile sounds insane, isn't it? hihihihi ^^
