Random Talks (Bestie, Meetups, etc) - Ulog Day 51

I guess I'll be busy with some personal stuff before this month ends. For one, my bestie is coming back with her mother. Of course, I should be happy about this but the reason why they're coming back isn't really nice. However, I hope that auntie will feel much better now that she's coming back to the Philippines.

Also, now that my bestie is back (she plans on staying here until auntie feels much better before going back to the US), I believe I'll be going out from my dungeon from time to time. haha~ Although she has lived in Cebu for a long time, when she isn't really good with directions. I remember one time we went to downtown Cebu and she's literally clueless. In my case, I enjoy walking around and I've been with mama there a lot of times in the past when she was still active with her buy and sell RTW business. Somehow, I won't get lost and already familiar with the streets and even the shortcuts from one street to another there.

Well, getting lost in a beautiful place isn't bad though. Just like when we went out of town before. It was both our first time going to that place and we were literally wandering with no direction. However, it was so fun!

We survived by asking the locals. Originally, we looked up a place to stay overnight. Unfortunately, when we went there we weren't allow to stay because they had water shortage and didn't accept any guests that time. lol... So we searched for another place to stay which is also wallet-friendly. hahaha




That's where we stayed that time! And the beach on the background was also at the back of the inn and we were allowed to swim there anytime! <3 Ohh~ I miss having this kind of adventure! hihihi ^^


Aside from my bestie coming back, one of my students before is visiting Cebu with his son. We became friends and often talk about medical-related stuff. And since they're coming, they wanted to meet me. It'll be the first time to meet both of them in person, so I'm kind of excited for it.

I have learned a lot from him. He's a doctor and when he was still actively studying, we used to practice his case study for the conference together. I feel so lucky to handle such class in the past because I love medical-surgical nursing. There was even times when he let his junior doctors talk with me.

He stopped learning English now because of his very hectic schedule, but we kept in touch. He used to tell me, why don't you proceed to medicine? I think you'll be a good doctor. That thought made me happy... but I'll stick to teaching. :) I'm already in love with this field.. hahaha~
