Hello steemians, how has been our weekend, hope we are enjoying the weekend. This is another motivational Article on Education. The basic role of teacher in Educational Sector. We all have the motive and agenda to promote Education but we neglect the role of Teachers in Education Sector. Teachers are the one who can bring Education to standard.
Teacher
A teacher is a person who helps others to acquire Knowledge, Competence or Values, informally the role of Teacher may be taken on by anyone (Example when showing a colleague how to perform a specific task).
Teachers may provide instruction in Literacy and Numeracy, Craftsmanship or Vocational training, the art of Religion, Community roles or life skills. A Teacher professional duties may extend beyond Formal teaching. Aside the class room, Teachers may accompany student on field trips, Supervise at study halls, help with the organization of School functions, and serves as Supervisors for Extracurricular activities.
What is the role of a Teacher in Education
Most Teacher don't see themselves as the key factor to promote Education they just teach for teaching sake. This is why all Teachers and all readers should note these factors and make use of them to promote Education
PLANNING
At the planning stage, Teachers play multiple roles: This is the Practical aspect of teaching, a Teacher should not enter a class room for lecture without having personal study on his own no matter how long he/she might have been in teaching. Teachers also design lesson plans to teach the standard and provide engaging activities.
STUDENT INTERACTION
Teacher must be a Leader in the classroom and the School, earning the respect of Students and setting a positive example. This part is very important, a Teacher should learn how to take his Student along when teaching in a form of interactive Class. This is the picture of my friend @olarenwaju after a successful lecture.
DO NOT TEACH FOR EARNING SAKE
This is one of the basic problem we are facing in our Educational system most of the employed Teachers today teach based on money which is very wrong in teaching skills. The Government should set up some kind of organization that will look into all the Teachers employed into teaching not just based on money issues. Professional Teachers are the key light to Education.
