Ferns - My Love Since Childhood

in #photography7 years ago

I grew up on kind cartoons. Like "The Land Before Time" (1988), "FernGully: The Last Rainforest" (1992). And together with the main characters - kind, sympathetic and friendly, I experienced for the nature and the Earth entirely. I remember how empathized, how I was crying... Many believe that the children's memory is "short", but it's wrong! All that we see and feel in childhood has a colossal influence on us! Exactly in childhood arise kindness, compassion, responsibility! Or absolutely opposite emotions and traits of character...

Ferns, I still adore them! :)

Take care of your children from an early age, friends! Bring in them only the best traits of character! And do not forget about our planet, we have only one!

Excellent pictures @terrycraft. Ferns are such an interesting and unique plant. I got to watch our Ferns sprout from nothing in the ground to full fronds this spring for the first time! I ended up buying a painted fern and an autumn fern this spring as well :)

I have always loved fern too, they seem so high frequency when you're in a forest and they cover the ground all around you, it's like they are vibrating in your eyes somehow.. Especially when you've eaten a few mushrooms... 8)
I love watching them unfurl on fast forward, you really see how they are ALIVE.

Especially when you've eaten a few mushrooms...

Haha )))) Looking at what mushrooms we are talking about ...)))

Haha well our local variety of magic mushrooms in Northern England are called "liberty caps", and they're very liberating indeed! =D

I know how you feel to see and feel the nature, last weekend I camped 3 days in the mountains, was a nice few days

After I watched Fern Gully for the first time as a kid it also left a lasting impression on me. Imagine my thrill when I realized that my mom had Ferns among many plants that she had at that time. Suddenly my balcony became a jungle :)
