Dclick introduces a new way to generate revenue on the internet.

In this era of the internet, when people talk about advertising, almost every time they’re probably referring to online advertising. Online advertising has been proven to be extremely profitable both for small and large businesses. Reports indicate that around 95% of Google’s revenue comes from online advertising. That’s saying something! The average person is served over 1,700 banner ads per month but only half of them are ever viewed. What is Dclick?

Dclick is an incentivized Ad platform by Proof of Click. It is a project aimed to connect Creators and Advertisers. The Creators can include an advertisement in their contents and receive rewards based on content clicks. The advertisers can promote their own content on Dclick as well with almost no charge. Dclick, simply we can call it a Steemit Adsense, which works on pay per click model. for every click earns you a certain amount of money, at present pay per click is around $0.20 but it can vary according to traffic. Dclick is built on the Steem blockchain, currently, the revenue generated amounts to Dclick tokens that can be exchanged to Steem in form of upvotes, holders of Dclick tokens can wait and exchange these coins for SMT(Smart Media Tokens) which are coming soon. The implementation of exchanging Dclick tokens for steem via upvotes before SMT exchange is a good thing mostly for active members, I have seen other Steem Dapps like actifit use it and it's very effective.

The primary benefits in Dclick are that Creators can maximize rewards by Ads, Advertisers can promote content with almost no charge. The Creators receive rewards from the clicks of links and views of clips from any blogs or movies via Dclick.

Getting started with Dclick.

Getting started on Dclick is very easy, the only work needed before all this is to get a steemit account, after acquiring a steemit account you will be required to log into the platform using steemconnect, that's all. The general overview shows the total revenue generated by the users but after signing in you will be able to see your generated revenue.

You can upload posts in Monetize Tab and your posts are automatically registered in Steemit. You can click SHOW AD checkbox to see which types of advertisements are adhered to the posts. You can also just paste a link to your post.

Users can choose which kind of advertisement they want to have adhered to their post, they can also choose between a text Ad and an image Ad.

Users can advertise for free, this can be done by holding Dclick tokens or delegating SteemPower to Dclick.

There are many benefits in delegating SteemPower to Dclick, these include;

• Receiving 30% of the profit from weekly based on leases.
• You receive 30% of the Dclick Tokens that are issued daily based on the lease.
• Free advertisement on your most recent posts.

Users can receive their rewards after 7 days. The advertisers can receive continuous rewards after 7 days unless the advertiser ends advertisements, they can also proceed advertisements with almost free of charge.

Though Dclick is still in beta version, the platform is fairly easy to understand and use, it feels like a complete project that only lacks minimal implementations like SMT exchange,

Verdict

It's a great initiative to connect Steem to the real world through such projects. It's now that we shall start benefiting from both the Steemians and Non-Steemians, Steemit posts will not only be limited to Steemit rewards but they will be valued by Non-Steemians who will contribute to the users' revenue to make more money. I like the idea of leasing Steempower considering the fact that this a new project that needs more support to make the exchange of Dclick tokens for upvotes more fluid. Steemit users will improve in their earnings and Dclick will promote Steemit, two birds with one stone. Hope the management will be able to tirelessly combat the using of automated click tools, traffic sources and robots, Introduce the exchange of Dclick tokens to SMTs much sooner.
